I tried this Yogi Calming (Eases Mild Tension) tea to help reduce anxiety that sometimes makes it difficult to fall asleep. This tea contains chamomile and scullcap, a natural/herbal sedative. Though I did find it reduced anxiety, oddly enough, it had reverse energy boosting effect. It seems as though with the absence of the anxiety it had a mood boosting effect and rather than tire me out as intended, made me want to be very productive! I think this tea would be more beneficial if you are planning to drink it right before you go to bed when the action of drinking the tea itself is most calming. It is naturally decaffeinated so it should be energy boosting. Despite this odd reaction, I will still continue to drink it for it's great taste!
