There are a hundred foundation out there at a cheaper price point that will give you much better coverage without feeling so heavy. I was actually surprised how cakey it felt and within a couple hours was breaking up in areas I am prone to oiliness. I have used it with the primer, plus the special brush, and the follow up pressed powder, all with the same effect. I will be switching to a drugstore brand. the only reason I still use this is because I bought it from a friend opening her "business" and it cost me almost $100 for the whole set.
This makeup is horrible . I thought I would try it after seeing all the before and afters . My friend send me sample and it was one tiny pin hole amount . What a joke . It's so watery and it doesn't cover at all . Horrible .
I recently purchased this product in Scarlet. I have been using it daily for about two weeks, and can honestly say that I am not impressed. The coverage is not there at all, and it leaves my skin feeling greasy by the end of the day. It is also very expensive, and is honestly no better than a bottle of $6 covergirl concealer. I will not purchase this product again.
Honestly it takes way to much to cover the face! It's way to expensive and it's not full coverage!
You could save so much money and get a real brand that totally covers your face
I'm super disappointed in this product. Couldn't afford it so my mom got it for me as a birthday gift and after watching presenters on Facebook cover sharpie etc on their faces I expected excellent coverage, but wasn't able to cover a single blemish! Don't waste the money unless your face is flawless to begin with
I do not understand why there is such a hype over this foundation because there is nothing special or amazing about it.
The coverage is mediocre and average, I've seen videos of people covering tattoos using this and I didn't even feel like it covered anything so, videos and images can be deceiving. It is very watery, too watery. Does not feel creamy or smooth while applying, just feels like water. You could probably BUILD your coverage with this product but it is such an unpleasant feeling on the face that you wouldn't want too.
All I really have to say is - it's not worth the hype or the price.
Sadly, this foundation is mostly social-media-fueled hype. I purchased the foundation, brush and primer to support a friend who sells Younique. As I've discovered about most direct sales products, the manufacturer can't give you full bang for your buck quality-wise because they have to carve out a large percentage of the profits to pay commissions to the presenter/consultant, and her upline, and her upline, etc.
The foundation is a watery consistency, and if you use the recommended amount, it goes on very sheer (think BB Cream sheer). I'm not quite sure what the ladies are doing in those social media "photoshop in a bottle" videos to cover permanent marker on their faces...the foundation couldn't even cover freckles for me. Even after setting, the foundation feels a bit oily to the touch. If you have oily skin, you'll want to think twice about this stuff.
While I appreciate Younique's "all natural ingredients" approach to makeup, companies like Bare Minerals have the same approach, and in my opinion, much higher quality products.
I had such high hopes for this foundation after seeing so many great reviews on YouTube. When I got this I was a little concerned with how watery this was, but gave it a shot anyway. Maybe I got a dud bottle but this is awful. It feels like straight oil going on my skin, it is so hard to blend because it is so oily feeling and the coverage was nothing like what I saw on videos. This also caused my skin to erupt into under the surface bumps that were so painful I couldn't wear any makeup at all. There's a reason this product seems too good to be true.
