When this light first arrived I was surprised because there were no instructions of any kind. So I took a lot on faith and plugged it in. Thankfully that's all you really need to do, it can be screwed into any E27/E26 socket. I'd love to use this for my ceiling light, but unfortunately here in Montreal apartments just don't tend to have central lights, so I tried this out in my lamp instead.

I will say that upon visual inspection, the lightbulb looks quite cheap as it's all made of plastic, but it actually works great. I was surprised by the range of patterns and colors and think it's a great option for parties at this price point. Definitely not something you'd want plugged in regularly, but good option for parties or discos if you have a central ceiling light. It can also be used with a lamp to throw patterns on the ceiling, but I think a disco floor is much more fune.
