Big sugar!

I love the size of the sugar that's used on top of these turnovers. And don't get me started on the cherry filling, it's absolutely delicious! The pastry is golden and flaky and melts in your mouth too

I'm that horrible person that picks the tops off the turnovers and leaves the fruit it. I love the pastry part, I just dislike the fruit part. I'm not a fan of fruit in anything bales, I prefer fruit in its natura form. However, if you like fruit it pastries, you will love this. The pastry itself is light and airy. It's very sweet, but I like to pair it with a bitter coffee to balance it out. My husband loves them too. I'd like to repurchase these in another flavour, but as sure I will still repurchase them with fruit as my husband does like these a lot.
