I loved the glossy finish of this lip balm and its delightful candy - like scent. the balm kept my lip hydrated for a couple of hours. It is a fantastic product that I would definitely recommend.

Glowy and glossy

I am a big fan of luxury lip balms since they tend to be a product I reach for almost every day. When I got this one, one of the first things I noticed was the amazing quality of the packaging. You can definitely feel the luxuriousness of the product based on the packaging itself and how much detail went into the experience.

As for the formula, it went on thicker than I expected and felt more like a lip treatment than a regular lip balm. The finish is much shinier, but shy of a classic gloss. It definitely felt more hydrating than other lip balms I've used, and the flush of colour was sheer but apparent. The shade is rather muted with a slightly darker rosy tint. On my complexion (fair with neutral undertones) it was very similar to my natural lip colour and a great shade to add just a tint of very natural colour. If you're into the more minimal and clean makeup style I'd definitely recommend trying this lip balm out!

Pricey but perfect!

Recently received 3 of these lip products for free from Butterly. They are beautiful! So soft and smooth. Not much transfer throughout the day. Their only flaw is how pricey they are!!

Natural lip tint

Is the most hydrating luminous lip balm that gives you a good colour or tint to the lips along with hydrating lips? It’s not sticky. It’s perfect stays on for long. You can’t find anything better.

Doux et délicat

J'adore l'odeur et la texture de ce produit! Il laisse les lèvres douces, hydratées et délicatement teintées avec une brillance naturelle. Très passe-partout comme baume et boitier super chic! Je l'adore.

If you're a darker skin tone this is not for me

This shade was way too light for my skin tone. I would most likely put this as a base layer then add a gloss to enhance it's colour for my skin tone - on the plus side, it smells amazing!

Great

It was a great product, keeps your lips moisturized and is non sticky. Great for blending out lip combos, and amazing on its own as well. The price is a bit high though.

Pretty in Pink

Yves Saint Laurent's Pink Sunrise Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm is indeed a luxury product. The silver and pink packaging itself if so pretty and definitely has that high-quality look you'd expect buying a Yves Saint Laurent product. I have a pale complexion, and the Pink Sunrise shade gives my lips just a sheer pop of candy-pink colour. I like it because while it's pink, it doesn't stand out a lot and still looks quite natural. The balm itself is smooth, creamy and had kind of a floral, peachy smell, and it feels good to wear. So I very much like the quality, look, and feel of this balm. However, I do find that this balm doesn't stay on my lips for very long, and I find myself having to reapply it often, even if I haven't been eating or drinking. This is the one con I can find with this product.
