I really like how silky smooth these leave my lips .. i do wish there was more of a colour payoff but for it being a balm it does a great job .. very easy to just throw on a wear

These lip balms are long-lasting and hydrating, with a non-sticky buttery texture. All provide a hint of color and shine that is not overpowering. 3B is my go-to lip shade, it levels up my lip game!

Pricey but perfect!

Recently received 3 of these lip products for free from Butterly. They are beautiful! So soft and smooth. Not much transfer throughout the day. Their only flaw is how pricey they are!!

Pretty in Pink

Yves Saint Laurent's Pink Sunrise Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm is indeed a luxury product. The silver and pink packaging itself if so pretty and definitely has that high-quality look you'd expect buying a Yves Saint Laurent product. I have a pale complexion, and the Pink Sunrise shade gives my lips just a sheer pop of candy-pink colour. I like it because while it's pink, it doesn't stand out a lot and still looks quite natural. The balm itself is smooth, creamy and had kind of a floral, peachy smell, and it feels good to wear. So I very much like the quality, look, and feel of this balm. However, I do find that this balm doesn't stay on my lips for very long, and I find myself having to reapply it often, even if I haven't been eating or drinking. This is the one con I can find with this product.

Butter but better!

This product glides so effortlessly and keeps the lips so moisturized. I find myself staring at my lips as it looks so hydrated and full! The colour is a little light for my pigmented lips but overall a good product!

Sheer Colour in Luxury Packaging

These balms come in a luxurious, heavy packaging and glide on smoothly, I find the colour more sheer than the Lip Oil Stick version. It was moderately hydrating, comfortable to wear and not sticky and very flattering sheer colour you can apply without a mirror. Overall a nice choice for a luxury lip balm option!

Luxury x Comfort! Count me in! This formula will have you head over heels! It’s so comfortable to wear. I love how it makes my lips feel soft and hydrated. It literally glides on like butter. It’s a natural sheer, tinted look that is great for everyday wear. Stunning and feels elegant!

Beautiful luxurious lip balm but not enough tint!

The Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm by YSL must be the juiciest, butteriest, creamiest, and luxurious lip balm I've ever tried in my life! This balm melts onto your lips the moment you apply it, adding a generous buildable layer of moisture and radiant glow that lasts so long! Since this product does apply so easily, you do have to be a bit careful with application because it can break/get nicked easily. My lips are so hydrated and plump after applying this, and each colour is so subtle and natural looking on the lips. The formula actually contains pH-Adjusting Pigments that react to the body’s natural chemistry, creating a unique shade for everybody that uses it!

Shade 1B "Pink Sunrise" is a clear sheer pink that was very subtle and didn't add much tint to my lips. Although I love how this balm feels on my lips, I don't think I'd pay this much money for a balm that doesn't really do much else other than hydrate and add shine to my lips.

The ingredient list is clean and free of parabens and sulfates SLS & SLES, and also contains incredibly hydrating ingredients like squalane, maracuja, jojoba and passion fruit oil, and shea butter. The packaging is also so sleek and elegant, which is to be expected from YSL. The gold metal tube has the iconic YSL logo embossed on the cap and it feels so luxurious in your hand and looks so beautiful on my makeup vanity.

Buttery smooth

The Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm in shades 44B and 3B features a luxurious, buttery texture that melts into the lips, providing a smooth and even application. Key ingredients likely include hydrating elements such as shea butter and possibly jojoba oil, known for their moisturizing properties. The balm has a subtle fragrance, which I'm not a big fan off, but it's okay.

The feel on the lips is nourishing and non-sticky, offering comfort throughout the day. The packaging is elegantly designed, reflecting YSL's signature glamour, often in sleek, rose gold ish casing that feels premium to the touch.

As for longevity, this tinted balm offers moderate wear. While the hydration lasts, the tint may require reapplication after eating or drinking to maintain its tint.

The shade 3B is a peachy pink and is warm. Shade 44B is a cool toned pink.
