Great waterproof mascara from YSL

I really liked this waterproof mascara. I did find it a little clumpy which is why the four star rating. I wore it in the rain and it did not run at all so it definitely does the job. Would definitely recommend this product.

I have never tried a YSL mascara before so I was excited to try it!
I like wearing black mascara so the colour was a perfect fit for me
It is a waterproof formula so I was worried how hard it would be to take off but came off easily with a good makeup remover
You can see the before and after that it really did give my lashes volume and was very buildable. It did not flake off and stayed put all day
The tube feels very luxurious and is a nice addition to my makeup collection and looks beautiful on display

Very Water-Proof Mascara

This mascara looks great. I love the wand applicator is not too big and is simple in design. I don't prefer over large wands with weird shapes or curves, so this want is perfect for me. This mascara is VERY waterproof! If you want long lasting, this is the stuff for you! It is tough to remove with just regular soap, but doesn't not really smudge in the process. But if you want it off, you need make-up remover. Over-all a great product!

YSL mascara

I love the simple packaging. I love YSL brand already so trying this mascara out was exciting. It made my lashes longer, thicker and looked stunning on. It was easy enough to wash off at the end of the night. It was in shade black. I will def be purchasing again.

Long lasting!

My lashes looked more defined and fuller after just 2 coating. It creates great length and holds up all day. The oversized brush makes the application easy. It is formulated to last up to 48 hours! It's really hard to take off with a regular micellar water or makeup remover so be sure to use one with a bi-phase formula. The only downside for me is that the mascara is not smudge-proof coz it smears under my eyes when my face gets sweaty or oily that I have to wipe from time to time.

I would still give it a 4/5 rating for being long-lasting!

100% waterproof

This mascara does not smear or rub at all, even with tears, showers, and swimming. When exposed to water it becomes less bold and the lengthening and volumizing effect is minimized. This is definitely my favourite waterproof mascara I’ve ever tried! I can see myself wearing this anytime water or tears may be involved. Otherwise, I’m not sure I’d use it everyday as it is somewhat difficult to remove!

Great mascara but could be a little better

The YSL mascara is an amazing mascara, but I’ve got long eyelashes that are very heavy so for me I need a mascara that’s gonna hold up these lashes all day and make them longer at least a pure longer or at least fuller than what they are and this mascara, even though it did make them look a little fuller I found the formula was just a little Too heavy if it was just a bit lighter weight I think this mascara has amazing potential. It’s got the it’s got the lift, but it lifts, but it takes a lift away after a bit because of the heaviness of the mascara because it is a fuller formula more consistency , the word that I’m thinking of but I just it’s great mascara I do like it, but I think it’s got better potential

Worked on my short, straight lashes

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this mascara worked on my short, straight lashes! I will definitely keep using this and they only thing I wish could be improved is how thick the brush is. I prefer my mascara brush to be thinner as it makes it easier to apply mascara at the corner of my eyes.

Not a bad waterproof mascara

I received this @yslbeauty Lashclash Mascara from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review.

It's not easy to find a waterproof mascara that actually does not smudge or create raccoon eyes. So I was really excited to try this out.

This mascara comes in a black tube that has a nice metallic blue YSL logo on it. The brush itself is pretty big, so I have to be extra careful when applying it.

In addition, it is supposed to be volumizing (400% volume boost), heat proof, humidity proof and smudge proof. Well, it does give my lashes some volume, but only after I applied at least 2 layers. It does not flake, but it does smudge under my eyes after a few hours. I am not sure if it's because I have oily eyelids or it just does not work like it's advertised.

It is however waterproof, so I definitely need to use eye makeup remover to remove it.

Great volume

Gives amazing volume and length to my lashes but I found that for me personally, it was hard to fully remove even with oil based makeup remover.I would love to test out the not waterproof version because I feel like I will like that more!
