Beautiful mascara

Beautiful mascara. I love the look of the packaging and the look of the product itself. The brush is excellent quality. I do prefer a larger brush over a smaller one. The black mascara is very black which I love. It coats lashes well but does sometimes clump when doing a second coat. It does weigh heavy on my lashes as well. It can be corrected with a lash brush and curler. Overall impressed with the product but not quite enough to switch from my regular product.

True waterproof mascara

YSL lashclash waterproof mascara, 8/10. IM almost a fan of this brush, it did create volume and length but my lashes are thin so it went on a bit thick which made me smudge some product on my eyes. On a positive note the packaging and container are aesthetically pleasing, the colour was spot on and the waterproof formula does last the day. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Natural looking Lashes

I love this mascara. It give a natural look without carrying the weight of fake lashes.
It is very light on the eye lashes and perfect… It doesn't flake and neither too dry nor too wet.

Pretty good

I got this for free in exchange for my honest review. Overall, this is a decent mascara. I prefer those who also lengthen my lashes in addition to volume. While waterproof, it did transfer a bit on my lower lash line (due to natural oils around the eye area), more than my regular non waterproof mascara. Removal was okay, but there was still some product left after double cleansing.

Good volume but bulky

Thanks @thisisbutterly and @yslbeauty for sending me the new YSL Lashclash Mascara to try out for a honest review.

Although the packaging is modern and premium looking, I feel that YSC really missed the mark with the sizing of the packaging as this is the largest mascara I have ever seen and is too large to put in your purse for a night out in my opinion.

This mascara claims 48 hours of extreme volume but I’m not sure who would ever need to wear their mascara for that long. It is also waterproof, heat-proof & sweat proof so looking forward to testing this out more in the summer. The mascara lasted a full day of wear and it was difficult to get off during my nightly skincare routine so agree that it is waterproof.

The formula was thick and the Double-Conical brush wand was large which made it more difficult to apply. I understand that this is intended to hold more formula so you can do multiple coats and provides up to 400% buildable volume. I typically only do two coats with any mascara so this is how I compared it to other mascara I typically use. I did like the mascara and it did provide volume but I’m not sure that I would truly use this mascara to its full buildable potential.

Although this brand is premium and the price tag speaks for itself, I did not see a major difference between other drugstore brands mascaras to justify purchasing this mascara in the future.

Gorgeous full lashes

When using this mascara, instantly I can tell that the wand can catch and coat all my lashes separately. After one coat, my lashes look full and voluminous but also natural. For some extra length I tried a second coat which helped but dries quickly so it can be prone to clumping after that. My lashes stayed lengthy and voluminous all day and it is super water proof. It didn’t run when I had watery eyes, and would only come off with an oil based makeup remover.

The way this mascara lengthened my lashes looks amazing! My eyes are sensitive and water daily, but there was no significant smudging when i had to wipe them. It applied nice with no clumps.

Beautiful Volume as Promised!

I was incredibly excited to be able to try this beautiful Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara by Yves Saint Laurent for free in exchange for my honest review. I have always had very fine and tiny lashes on my eyes and I tend to buy voluminzing mascara because of this. However, I have never been satisfied because I have found that it takes work to curl, tease and apply the mascara carefully in order to avoid stiff, clumpy, smudgey or artifical looking lashes. Having tried this mascara now, I can happily say that it delivers as promised.

Unlike other mascaras that I have used, I found that this does not clump or smudge. The design of the Double-Conical brush helps build volume and allows for easy application. The mascara is thick but it goes on smoothly and evenly. After I applied the mascara, I was impressed with the how full and noticeable my lashes were. The only thing extra that I did was curl my lashes.

I also put the mascara to the test throughout the day. It's definitely waterproof! My eyes watered heavily and were wiped repeatidly while I was chopping onions for cooking. The Lash Clash Mascara stayed as it should. The colour and volume lessened just slightly throughout the day. It essentially lasted until bedtime, when I removed it.

Overall, I am very happy with this product! I would recommend it to anyone looking for bold, beautiful and volumized lashes. I will definitely purchase this in future now that I've tried it!

This mascara applies so smoothly and really added volume to my lashes! So happy with this product. It’s not flakey or clumpy after application. Love it!

Solid waterproof mascara

I received the YSL Lashclash Mascara free for from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.

On first impression, the packaging looks nice but is a bit thick, making it a bit awkward to hold while applying. The brush itself also feels a bit too large, making it difficult to apply with precision. It took several layers to fully coat my lashes and the result was a little grainy but overall pretty good for a waterproof mascara. The extra volume was quite good but there wasn't as much added length as I would have liked. After letting it dry, I splashed my face several times with water and then dabbed my eyelashes dry with a tissue and only the tiniest black specks came off, there was no running or smearing of the mascara at all, so it is quite good as a waterproof mascara. However, it was also very difficult to remove the mascara at the end of the day- I double cleansed with a cleansing balm followed by makeup remover face wash and that wasn't enough, I had to do another round with micellar water and face wash, and there was still some mascara clinging on. Overall, this is a great waterproof mascara but because it was so difficult to wash off even with oil-based cleansers, I would save it for occasions that I really needed my mascara to be waterproof.
