Great lash voluminizer mascara

I tried the new YSL Lash Clash waterproof Lash Clash in black, in exchange for my honest review.
The packaging is very luxurious, black and gold. Then the mascara container has a very good size and grip, which makes it very comfortable to apply.
The product itself is good, but it feels a bit heavy on my lashes. It's thick, it doesn't distribute easily, but once it's on you notice visible volume even with just one swipe of mascara.
The mascara is waterproof so it lasts long, in my case for more than 10 hours without smudging. I recommend using a good eye makeup remover to clean the product without damaging the lashes.
The product meets the expectations, I would like it to be slightly lighter (but it's a my personal preference), the price is very good for a high-end brand.

I wasn’t a big fan of this mascara. Not noticeable after two coats of mascara. I’ve tried cheaper brands that provide more volume, so I would skip on this.

Quite disappointed with the YSL Lashclash Mascara

I received the YSL Lashash Mascara from Butterly and YSL beauty to test for free. The size of the mascara tube is longs, the brush is a good roundness but I was quite disappointed with the way the mascara came on. I couldn’t believe how clumpy it felt and the more I tried to separate my lashes, the clumpier it got. To ensure I wasn’t just dealing with bad luck, I washed the applicator brush, waited for it to try and then used it again, but the problem still persisted. The colour was a nice rich black and the mascara stayed put all evening, but it did smudge onto my eyelids when I applied it and it also wasn’t easy to remove despite using eye make up removing cleansing balm. So I was quite surprised and rather disappointed - maybe it’s just been my bad luck and I got a tube that wasn’t great, but I’m not sure I would buy it if anyone else had similar feedback.
I love YSL cosmetics, perfumes & products normally but I was left disappointed with this mascara to say the least. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Lasts a long time, but it's really hard to remove

YSL Lashclash Mascara promises more volume and up to 48 hours of wear time with intense colour.

I did not notice a big difference in the volume of my lashes, but they were darker. I found that the mascara made my lashes clump together a bit and there was a fair bit of fallout that I had to clean up a few times.

My lashes did feel soft and not hard like most mascara makes them. The colour did last a long time, but it also made it almost impossible to remove when I wanted to take it off. I used 2 different kinds of micellar water and a cream cleanser and it still wouldn't come off.

This mascara is not for me, but if you're looking for long wear this might be for you.

Thick and heavy

Had to be very careful with the amount I applied in order to get natural looking lashes. I personally found it a little too thick and heavy for my style, but I'd definitely recommend for people that like their make up a little heavier

A mascara that does it all

This mascara is waterproof, heat-proof, and sweat-proof that will add volume and strengthen your lashes. It’s formulated with Iris Extract to stimulate and protect the synthesis of dermaproteins day after day to reinforce the hair structure, for lashes that are soft, supple and healthy. It’s also enriched with a hair conditioning agent, Safflower Glucoside, that allows lashes to feel fortified. I love that it provides a clump-free look and can be buildable for a more voluminous and dramatic look.

Okay Mascara

I was very excited to try YSL Lashclash Mascara. While it has many pros, unfortunately it is not the right fit mascara for me. I have very thin, short lashes, and the brush is a bit too chunky to get proper control of my lashes. A lot of the mascara ended up on my eyelid as I attempted to apply the mascara to my lashes. The mascara does provide great volume and I do appreciate the longterm waterproof effect (it's difficult to get off, which is great if you're looking for waterproof!). However, I was hoping for some length too, especially at this price point, but wasn't able to achieve length with this mascara.

Overall a good everyday mascara

I totally thought I was going to like this more than I did. I prefer my mascaras super black and the formula to almost be “wet” and with this mascara, it took several coats for it to be dark and thick enough for me. That is my personal preference. I did like the packaging of the YSL Lashclash mascara, it came in a nice thick tube with a pretty box. The tube was easy to use and glided on nice overall. It did not have little particles flaking off like some other mascaras I’ve used have. I will continue to try with several coats to see if it will go on as dark as I like! Overall, it’s not a bad mascara but wouldn’t be my go to.

Waterproof, yes - but clumpy

Almost too good of waterproof that it won’t come off even with eye makeup remover. It’s also a dry and flakey texture which gives that cheap mascara look. Gives a spider lash look and not really that wispy volume look that I prefer.

Wouldn't budge all day LITERALLY

I recently tried the YSL Lashclash Waterproof Mascara and I have mixed emotions on it.

Firstly, the packaging is sleek and luxurious, which is what I have come to expect from YSL products. The mascara wand is also unique, with a curved shape that makes it easier to coat every lash. The formula itself is also impressive. It is not too wet or too dry, making it easy to apply without clumping or flaking.

What I love most about this mascara was the noticeable lift and volume it gave my lashes after only one coat. I can also build it up for a more dramatic look while it adds a beautiful black color to my lashes, making them stand out even more.

What I have mixed emotions about this mascara is its waterproof formula. It definitely lasts all day and more to which I had no smudging after wearing it through 2 events in a day which never happens. It definitely lives up to its claim of being waterproof which takes me to the con, I couldn't for the life of me take it off afterwards... I tried 3 different makeup removers and was afraid I'd rip my eyelashes out trying to get this mascara off. Eventually I got it off but it took me forever so unless someone has a miracle makeup remover for waterproof mascara then please share!

Overall, I may purchase this Lashclash Waterproof Mascara in the future if someone tells me the quick trick on how to take this off afterwards. Otherwise I would recommend this to someone looking for a long wear mascara that's high-quality and waterproof though.
