A truly waterproof concealer

I enjoyed using this mascara. It definitely added some volume. I used two coats to build it up even more! It was easy to remove with an oil based eye makeup remover! I received this product free in exchange for an honest review.

Defined Natural Look

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It screams quality. The box itself is enticing, and the mascara tube is solid and weighty. It has a textured metal feel and the embossed YSL logo sets it off.
The product itself is great. It doesn't have a chemical smell likely another high end brand. I was really happy about that.
The applicator is a great size and shape which allows me to be more precise with the application. This was great for me since I have VERY curly lashes that criss-cross over one another.
The formula is very nice. It went on smoothly and was buildable. It definitely gives a more natural defined look. So if you want a thick, heavy application, this might not be your best bet since you'll have to build it up quite a bit. It is truly waterproof! With some waterproof mascaras I can wash it off with my regular cleanser. Not with this one! You will for sure need an eye makeup remover to get it off. So if you're doing a lot of activity or hitting the water, this is a great option for a mascara that won't smudge at all. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for something that compliments their everyday look in a natural way.

Perfect for straight lashes

Perfect for my straight lashes! I love how this mascara holds a curl well because it is waterproof, but still feels lightweight and not crunchy. It also doesn't flake and smudge, and is easy to remove with eye makeup remover. The mascara wand is not too big as well, which I like because it can get into the inner corner lashes nicely. I tried the mascara several days in a row. At first, I didn't notice any improvement to volume, really. But, after a couple of days, I could start to see a bit of a difference. Perhaps it just takes some getting used to the brush. Well, it rained several times this past week so I was definitely able to see how effective it was at being waterproof..... and bingo! Works like a charm. No running, no smearing, and no flaking in the rain. 🌧☔️💧

Great luxury mascara!!

I received this product for free from Butterly and YSL in exchange for my honest opinion. I love the total black color of the formula. I love the sleek black container and blue YSL lettering. Overall I gave this product a 4 stars because of how the product applies and dries. As you can see in my photo it definitely added length and volume to the applied eye, but it dries a little clumpy and doesn't apply smoothly. Id recommend this product still because it does work and visibly looks like it adds to the lash but the formula could be better.

Great Length

I received this product for my honest opinion, and I really liked it. I already have long eyelashes and this mascara made them longer. Not only did it give great length but it was also waterproof, which is nice that it didn't run. The only thing I am not sure of is if it is also sweatproof. I guess I will have to try it out longer to see if that is the case. Overall it is a good mascara that I would buy again if I am wanting to splurge.

Wont budge

If you are looking for a waterproof mascara that wont budge .. will add a ton of volume to your lashes you have come to the right place .. The YSL Lash clash is very waterproof and was the perfect addition to a night out .. this would be great for beach vacation !

Lash Clash Mascara

I received the Lash Clash Waterproof Mascara as a freebie from #Butterly for an honest review. Overall, I'm impressed with its long-lasting formula and smudge-proof wear. The wand design makes application smooth, enhancing lash volume effectively. It falls just short of a 5-star rating due to slight clumping after multiple coats.

Clumpy, Smudgy

It coats uneven, makes the lashes looks clumpy and chunky. I tried again, after 8hrs of wearing it, still looks clumpy and had smudged. The bristles had too much product so I scraped the product and tried again, I coated it twice enough to cover all my lashes. It looked great, but there’s still clumpyness. I didn’t had problem removing it, use baby oil and its gone. Make sure to use facial wash after to completely remove it.

Good but clumpy

Thank you butterly and YSL for providing me the opportunity to try this mascara. It was totally waterproof as claimed and it made my lashes look many times longer and beautiful. It stayed on for all day even after sweating and working all day. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was very clumpy and when I tried to double coat my lashes it made my lashes look so clumpy that I had to comb them to separate.
