Waterproof mascara

Typically, I don’t think it’s worth buying a $40 mascara when you can buy it at the drugstore for much cheaper. I think it’s OK for the most part but I don’t think it really gives me the wild

Heavy and Made my eyes itchy

I received the YSL Lash Blast in Black and for starters - I don’t wear black mascara or eyeliner because I’m so pale. I use browns, blues, and purples. I still have this a try because it was sent to me to test and review. Colour aside, it made my lashes look more thick and full. It also made my lashes feel heavy and thick. It is very hard to remove (it’s meant to last up to 48 hours) when I want it off. I also found it made my eyes a little itchy. I might try this again in another colour, to see if it was just the black that makes me itchy.

Smudges and hard to remove

I had high hopes for this mascara. At the end of the day, I had raccoon eyes and it was super hard to remove. The second time I wore it, it became super clumpy

Applicator to large

It did volumize a bit, but I do think it clumped more than my go to mascara. The applicator was almost too big and I found it hard to apply at times because of this. Definitely waterproof though!

Stayed on entire day

It was not my absolute favourite mascara. I wasn't a huge fan how it applied I found it kind of clumpy. However the length it made my eyelashes was great (although I always want longer) and it was completely waterproof which was great. I would still maybe recommend for a wedding or any where you are going to be crying as it was great in that aspect. It just overall was not my favourite mascara for my lashes personally.

Not a fan of the wand

I received this YSL Lash Clash waterproof extreme volume mascara free from #butterly in exchange for my review.

Let’s start with what I really liked. The packaging is beautiful and the tube is very sleek. It has a matte finish with I really like. The colour is also really nice, it has a very nice payoff and it really does a good job at coating the lashes and building some volume as it promises. I also really like that it’s waterproof, which means less chances of it budging throughout the day!

Now what I didnt enjoy was the actual mascara wand. I think the bristles are the issue with this wand as it made my lashes clump together. This mascara claims to add volume and lengthen the lashes. But I did not see a lengthening effect. The wand doesn’t do a good job at separating the lashes or creating length in my opinion.

Overall I really liked the formula of this mascara. It didn’t not create any fall out throughout the day, it does add volume to the lashes (once I used a clean spoolie to seperate my lashes) and the colour is very nice. But, it doesn't lengthen my lashes and makes them look spidery which I do not like.
