Not ideal

I received this product in exchange for my honest review from @thisisbutterly and @yslbeauty
This was not my favourite mascara. It did not lengthen or curl my lashes. I found it clumped my lashes together and found it to be flakey. For the price of the item, I would expect a lot more from this. I find my significantly cheaper mascara works much better than this one. I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype.

Good mascara

The mascara made lashes look volumized and dark, made them stand out. Didn't try for 48 hours but it lasted a whole day without smudge or raccoon eyes. Pretty good mascara.

great volumnizing mascara

I love the mascara especially for events i want my eyes to look bigger and pop. It stayed on the entire night without flaking off and made my lashes look longer and full of volume. it didnt give me racoon eyes at the end of the night

Designer products no longer the top tier?

I had very high hopes for this mascara due to it being from one of the most well known high end luxury brands on the market. I’ve heard lots of great reviews on YSL makeup… This mascara just didn’t hit the mark for me. Because it’s considered luxury, you would think the experience would BE luxurious… Instead, it was lacklustre and a disappointing. The formula of the mascara feels dry, and goes on quite clumpy. Even with proper prep of your lashes before applying, it still required quite a bit of finessing once applied. Not to mention, it was giving 60’s era Twiggy Spider Lashes at best… Unfortunately this isn’t a product I would purchase for myself or recommend to my fellow mascara junkies.

Smooth and bold

Very pleased with this waterproof mascara. It went on very well, no clumps. Lasted all day. Easy to remove and didn’t leave any black marks under my eye which is a must. Definitely the best waterproof mascara I’ve ever used!

Okay Mascara

I was very excited to try YSL Lashclash Mascara. While it has many pros, unfortunately it is not the right fit mascara for me. I have very thin, short lashes, and the brush is a bit too chunky to get proper control of my lashes. A lot of the mascara ended up on my eyelid as I attempted to apply the mascara to my lashes. The mascara does provide great volume and I do appreciate the longterm waterproof effect (it's difficult to get off, which is great if you're looking for waterproof!). However, I was hoping for some length too, especially at this price point, but wasn't able to achieve length with this mascara.

Straight and short lashes who?

To say that I’m impressed is an understatement. Having short and straight lashes, I have tried so many(too many) mascaras in my lifetime. This is the only mascara that has really helped lengthen AND keep my lashes curled the whole day all while keeping my lashes perfectly fanned and not clumpy. Definitely worth the luxury price tag.

Natural looking lashes

I got ysl mascara for free from butterly in exchange of my honest review and I am really impressed by how this mascara is a game changer for me. When I used it my lashes instantly looked instantly bigger and voluminous. It doesn’t smudge even after whole day, the brush is perfect it doesn’t sticks the lashes together. I would definitely recommend this mascara to everyone.

No Smudge, No Budge

YSL Lash Clash Mascaras promise of a volumizing mascara with waterproof wear for up to 48 hours of deep color was not a lie. It lasted me through sweat and tears! The bottle is nice and sleek, blue to match the waterproof theme, and the mascara was a nice constancy, not too thick or clumpy. The brush was great for application. My lashes got instant volume and length and no clumping or smudging. The only downside is trying to remove from your skin – I typically am a messy applicator, so you need some cleanser to help get off the spots. Otherwise the YSL Lash Clash Mascara lives up to its hype.

This mascara is designed to be waterproof and long-lasting, which means it won't smudge throughout the day. Additionally, it provides an incredible amount of volume, making your lashes appear fuller and more voluminous.
