Glamorous Volume with Staying Power

YSL's waterproof mascara gives me big volume and stays put no matter what. It's perfect for glamorous lashes that last, though taking it off can be a bit tricky. Still, if you want bold, beautiful results, this one's a winner.

Lots to volume

The packaging of this mascara is beautiful. It has an easy to use wand with many spaced-out bristles and holds plenty of product. With that being said, as someone with thin, short, sparse lashes, I don't feel as if the spacing is ideal for me. Too much product gets applied, which causes a slight cakeyness and a clumpy appearance, although this can easily be fixed with a mascara comb. I do however love the bold black colour and I can definitely notice an increase in volume and the all-day wear that doesn't smudge or flake off and it also dries quickly once applied. It doesn't irritate my eyes throughout the day and comes off easily with a good makeup remover or cleansing balm.

This volumizing mascara is smudgeproof and waterproof. The colour is a deep black and makes my lashes pop. The only thing I found that I didn't like was that the brush was a bit big for me and would have preferred it to be smaller so it didn't clump as much. Other than that, the formula goes on smooth and lasts, so it's a 3 out of 4 ⭐

Stays strong

The Lashclash Mascara stays on really well but it does apply a little bit clumpier than I'd like. The good thing about it is that it lasts through the day without smudging at all so I don't have raccoon eyes at the end of a long day which is nice but it's a little extra effort to take off. The Lashclash is one that I'll be adding to my collection

Nice lashes

I thought this product provided nice lashes and did not clump. Although I was happy with the result, there wasn’t something particularly outstanding with this product. If you’re looking for a splurge, it did perform well!

Lovely Mascara

I loved using YSL Lashclash Mascara. I love the packaging of the product and it’s luxurious feel. The mascara wand is great and easy to apply with. The product is water proof and is supposed to be long wearing. My only complaint is that sometimes it clumps a bit but that can be avoided by careful application. Overall, I loved it.

YSL does it again!

First things first, as I have already said, this packaging is beautiful - just like every other YSL product. It’s simple but so sleek. I love that they used a demimatte for the black packaging. It adds to the luxury vibes. And as always, their iconic YSL logo is the perfect accessory on the packaging.

The applicator is a pretty generic one: it’s relatively fluffy and has no unique contours or shapes to it. It works perfectly fine for getting mascara on the lashes. I’ve honestly never really understood all the different shaped ones and their usages.

The formula of the mascara appears to be on the dryer side. I had a little bit of clumping but I do think this did a pretty good job volume-wise. I wasn’t super sure how to feel with the effects of the mascara immediately upon application but I gotta admit I actually really liked it after a while if that makes sense? The clumping seemed a lot worse to me as I was applying. But after a while, I didn’t really notice it and instead, really like the volumizing effect. I will say that this is also one of the better ones for me in terms of durability. I had very little smudging on my bottom lash line at the end of the day. As someone who gets significant smudging with the average mascara, I was pretty happy with that end result.

Incredibly waterproof!

This mascara really surprise me. When I first unboxed it, the formula seemed really “wet” so I was worried it would flake or smear easily, but it did neither. It volumized really nicely, but didn’t budge at all! It lasted an entire day and looked exactly the same. The downside was that it was incredibly hard to remove. Even with a double cleanse and an oily makeup remover, I still had traces of it on my eyelashes. Overall, if you’re looking for a mascara with nice volumizing power but doesn’t budge through anything, then this is perfect for you!
