Nice mascara

I enjoyed trying this mascara out. It was very black and I had to take off some of the formula from the brush before applying because there was so much. The formula lasted well.

Not bad

I didn't mind the product but it is a little pricey for me and in my opinion there are cheaper options that are just as good! Doesn't seem too clumpy, if you have the money you may like it

Shapes your eyelashes like a dream!

First of all, this YSL mascara looks really elegant and pretty. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. I really liked how it made my lashes look, gives a good curl and holds it in place. Since it’s waterproof, doesn’t budge either.

Long lasting results

Thanks to Butterly and YSL for the chance to try this free for my honest opinion.
I was excited to try this out as I've never used YSL makeup. The actual tube looks super luxe and has a great feel and weight to it. The blue YSL lettering really stands out. I found that the brush held a lot of product, maybe too much and I got better results by wiping some off of the brush before using. The brush has a good shape to it and you can get all your lashes. This is a quick drying mascara and I had to work quickly. It did do a really good job of lengthening and thickening my lashes but I thought it was a little clumpy. As for the waterproof claim, that was spot on. It's actually hard to remove after a whole day of wearing it. I had to do some scrubbing with my makeup remover cream. It says 48 hours of wear but I didn't test that as I washed it off each night. I wouldn't doubt though that it would last a very long time. It's a quality mascara and I would like to try the non waterproof one to see if there was a difference. It was a 4 out of 5 for me as I did like it but it lost a star from too quick drying time and having too much product on the brush. It would be good for when I want to go extra on wear time and get some drama.

Perfect not flaky waterproof mascara

I dont usually go for waterproof mascaras because they always weight down my lashes, flake onto my skin, and are almost impossible to take off at the end of the day. I was very impressed with this YSL mascara in solving all those problems. My lashes looked amazing and stayed curled all day long after applying this mascara. On top of that even after 20 hour days, the mascara never flaked onto my skin or looked old and crusty. It was also very easy to get off my lashes at the end of the day - with an oil cleanser - obviously being waterproof it didn't come off with my water based cleanser. I love everything about this mascara, and I'm very critical with my mascara. The only thing holding me back from buying this mascara is the price point, and I feel like being a thicker and drier formulas this mascara wouldn't last as long as my regular ones, however this will stay at the top of my waterproof mascaras list

Very water proof

Received this mascara for testing purposes. I am very honoured. I loved the packaging. Feels heavy and easy to use. The applicator covers every lash easily. It goes well on the lashes. It gives good volume and length. However I faced an issue taking it off gently. I’ve used a few products to remove it but it was damaging my lashes and took over 10 min to take mascara off. I don’t think it is a right one for me.

Good volumizing

This is a good volumizing mascara that's also waterproof. I love that because my lashes don't like mascara that isn't waterproof. I love how to makes the lashes long and voluminous

Was sceptical at first

If I were to review on my experience after the first few days I would be giving it a much lower rating but after about a week I really started to love it. I am not sure if at first there was too much product on the brush but it left a lot on my lashes and left them very clumpy. After several uses I have found now that the product goes on a lot smoother. It noticeably makes my lashes look thicker and longer. Also, talk about waterproof! Even after showering and washing my face there is still product on my lashes. It comes off easily with makeup remover though. The size of the tube and quantity is quite large and should last quite some time. Overall very satisfied with this mascara. I will likely look to purchase this.

Incredible volume and Waterproof

I've never used YSL mascara before. This mascara surprised me a little - it makes an incredible volume of eyelashes in a matter of seconds, has waterproof for 48 hours, now you can look perfect anywhere in the pool, on the beach and you are sure that nothing will not smear or flow!

Surprisingly volumizing!

Usually waterproof mascaras weight my lashes down. This YSL waterproof mascara did the opposite! My lashes looked fluffy and the best part was no crumbles!
