Beautiful packaging

Beautiful color. Love how great it feels. The color is a beautiful darker shade of nude. The packaging is beautifuly design. It feels luxury when you put it on your lips.

Nude shade

Was my first time ever trying the YSL. I have to admit wow. Just wow. When you put it on your lips it just feels like a babys kiss. Super hydrating on your lips and leaves a beautiful nude color on your lips. The packaging is beyond beautiful. A true gem if you ask me.

I have a pretty decent collection I think, so I was absolutely thrilled when Butterly and YSL sent me the YSL LoveShine lipstick in Nude Lingerie (Shade 150) for free to try!!

This lipstick is quite unique as it is actually described as a lip oil stick vs a lipstick. This is because it is a wet shine lipstick that essentially transforms from a lipstick to a lip oil upon application.

It boasts 24-hr hydration and water loss prevention, while nourishing the lips. It utilizes an enriched formula with fig pulp from the YSL Ourika gardens and 6 pure oils, it promises to leave lips visibly softer and healthier.

This lipstick is just gorgeous, the texture is so special as it glides on easily. The colour is buildable and the wet shine is stunning. This colour (shade 150) is a beautiful rose with a gold shimmer to it.

While I love a good lippie I am admittedly bad at reapplication, I usually stick to a transfer proof and long wear option to keep me looking fabulous throughout the busyness of the day. This lipstick surprised me in this regard, while I did have to reapply throughout the day it wasn’t that often and I found that the colour itself created a stain like effect so while I reapplied, it never really looked like I had worn through my lipstick. This is huge for me as I am in back to back meetings all day, drinking coffees and have little to no time to reapply.

I have found my lips to be softer and healthier since using this lipstick, the improvement was noticeable after just a couple of days too.

I absolutely love YSL LoveShine, it is so freakin good!!!

I adore how hydrating these lipsticks are, they leave my lips feeling moisturized and soft. While they might not be completely transfer-proof, their versatility makes them ideal for year-round wear. Simply reapply whenever necessary to maintain the desired look and feel

Glossy hydrated lips

I absolutely love how moisturising these make my lips. They are not so much transfer proof, but these lipsticks are perfect for all seasons. Just reapply as needed.

Pretty shade but not deeper tone friendly

The lipstick glides on very smooth but I didn’t find it deeper tone friendly, it looks ashy. You could probably pair it with another deeper color to balance out the ashy accents in it. :)

Sheer lip balm like finish

It has a sheer lip balm like finish and glides beautifully on to the lips. This shade is deeper tone friendly and you can enhance the look by pairing it with a lip liner :)

My new Favourite

I'm so glad I got a chance to try this for free! It applies slick and it has a very pretty shine to it. The smell is also lovely without being too over powering. I also love that the formula dries into the lips without the drying out the lips. This is more of colour I would use year round and has a bit of a rosy colour I think would be complimentary to a lot of skin tones
