My New Favourite Lipstick

Okay, YSL Loveshine Lipstick is my new favourite lipstick. I tried two different shades of Nude lipstick which I got for free from Butterly. They go on SO smooth. Usually when I apply lipstick I need to put lip balm on first so it doesn't dry out my lips and eventually get flaky. These ones were perfect. They felt great, both colours looked great (subtle but noticeable), AND when I looked in the mirror halfway through my work morning, there was still lip colour despite drinking & applying lip balm throughout the day. I very rarely give perfect reviews, but I loved this!

High Shine

As with most YSL Beauty product, these lipsticks are beautiful but I would not call them lipsticks. They are more of a tinted balm as they provide hydration and pigments of colour but not a ton of colour. They are beautiful and hydrating.

Excellent lipsticks

Received these lipsticks for free in exchange for a honest review. These lipsticks are stunning! I received the nude shades 150 and 44 and I find they suit my complexion perfectly! These are high-shine caring lipsticks, meaning they go on smooth like butter and feel so creamy and hydrating on the lips, making these perfect for summer! Both shades apply sheer and have a light fruity scent. Packaging as always is very chic, I’m giving this product a 10/10 and can totally see myself reaching for these day after day!

This two are a perfect combo - I always choose more beige nude lipstick and with light texture - because I have dry lips - it gives you super natural shade and gorgeous shine- very elegant!

Amazing texture - light as clouds

Color palette is a pure nude perfection- not too bright, very elegant on lips , suits on every occasion !
I chose 2 shades - my top are 44and 150!
One is more beige - second is more pinkish

Obsessed

Obsessed is an understatement, I love everything about these lipsticks! First of all they go on like literal butter and feel so smooth on your lips. I hate the waxy feeling of my other lipsticks after trying these. The colour payoff is like a traditional lipstick which I prefer but feels more like a luxurious lip oil. And the shine effect is beautiful more natural than a gloss but make your lips look amazingly hydrated. Shade 44 is a gorgeous pink nude that I feel looks good with everything. It’s not too light or dark . It’s my lips but better! I can see this shade working so well for so many people.

Disappointed

I know this is a luxury product. I know. But I always like to compare the quality-price of the makeup I try. For 61$ + taxes at Sephora, I would not buy it personally. Let me explain. The packaging is super nice, it feels heavy and sturdy. The quantity of the product is also amazing. The formula? Not so bad, it's buttery, it's nice. But it really doesn't last long and I didn't feel like my lips were THAT MUCH hydrated after wearing it. At all. And I'm not even talking about the shades because they have various ones that could fit my skintone better, so this is not a complain! I've seen them on other girls and they look amazing! I just wouldn't pay that much for a product that just isn't that worth it, sadly. There are much more affordable products out there.
