Good lipstick!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this lipstick! Looking at the product (before trying), I was thinking it didn’t appear as a “nude” shade as it looked very pigmented. I was happy with how it looks on my lips. Very natural looking but a bit tinted red. It makes my lips look so much more hydrated. It works amazing with my skin tone.

Such a cute pinky purple shade

Shade 44 leans more pink with a purple undertone, I tend to suit more nude shades so if you like more of a cool toned pink you’ll love this one the formula is hydrating & glossy and looks stunning, I received mine for free from butterfly to review for my honest opinion.

Glossy & Moisturized

I really enjoyed using this loveshine lipstick. It looks quite pigmented in the tube but it applies very sheer so there is just a wash of color. The #44 shade is a light pink-mauve color which looks very natural on me and gives me just a hint of color. The color is buildable to some extent but I found too much application can make the lips look too wet.
The finish on this product is very glossy and moisturizing. It lasted a couple of hours for me but with eating and drinking, the product came off. I did notice however that even with the product worn off, my lips still felt quite moisturized!
The lipstick tube is quite lovely with the brand logo in the middle and the silver tubing. The tube feels weighty which lends itself to a luxury product. There is a strip of pink in the middle of the tube which I thought was the color of the product inside. However, it is just decorative and not reflective of the color inside the tube. I wish it was as it would be easier to differentiate colors.
Overall, I loved this product and it was unlike any lipstick I've ever tried. I would liken it more to a glossy tinted lip balm and for the price of this product, I think there are other similar options on the market for significantly less.

Smooth and hydrating

I loved how this lipstick wore, subtle colour payoff and moisturizing finish. I would give it 5 stars but it does have a slight fruity fragrance that I could do without

Smooth finish

Very moisturizing finish and glossy colour payoff.
The colour comes off more subtle and I liken this product to more of a lip balm than a lipstick which is great for everyday wear.

Silky and creamy

Really lovely non-sticky texture. I like how easily it glides on, like a chapstick bit with colour and sheen. Feels moisturizing and colour is noticeable without being overbearing. Light scent. Tube feels really high quality

YSL Loveshine Lipstick - Shade 44

Applies very smoothly and has a rich and buttery texture. This colour did not look great on me personally, was too pink. Would look great on someone more fair with lighter features. The formula however is very nice and still applies quite sheer so it is buildable and could look better on top of a matte liptstick.

YSL Loveshine Lipstick - Shade 150

This buttery lipstick applies smoothly and gently, has a light pleasant scent and attractive packaging. I do wish the pink on the outside of the lipstick tube was representative of the shade because it kept getting confusing between the two, having to either open the tube up or look at the bottom for the shade name. I do love how the lipstick looks like a lip tint more than a lipstick, it’s more sheer and transparent which makes it very buildable with other products
