Feels so buttery!

✨YSL Loveshine Lipstick✨

Thank you to @thisisbutterly and @yslbeauty for sending me these two shades for free in exchange for my honest review!

The formula on these lipsticks are SO creamy, I was thinking they were chapsticks because of it and was impressed by the colour payoff but these are indeed lipsticks and so incredibly glossy!

Sometimes lipsticks like this will feel glossy but dry up quickly but the texture didn't change for me at all, keeping my lips super hydrated.

The two shades I received were:
🔹150 - a warm pink nude
🔹44 - an iconic pink nude

I felt that 150 was better suited to my skin tone and I love that it has little sparkles throughout. 44 was a pretty bubblegum but doesn't work as well for my skin tone.

Lovely colour, no staying power

I received the YSL LOVESHINE LIPSTICK #150 Nude Lingerie free to try from Butterly for my review. I really wanted to love this lipstick. It goes on very smoothly and makes my lips feel soft. I love the colour so much, itˋs a little more pigmentthan the #44. The only drawback was that it has absolutely no staying power, even after setting it. Within a few sips of coffee in the morning, itˋs all gone, and it needs to be reapplied throughout the day.

Smooth moisturizing lippy, not longlasting

I was so excited to be selected for the YSL Loveshine Lipstick Campaign ! Thank you @thisisbutterly and @yslbeauty for sending these beautiful lipsticks to me free for a review 💋

The Loveshine Lipsticks arrived in golden boxes, which initially reminded me of gold sticks, lol. The barrels were a decent weight, so I can tell they were of high quality.

I received 150 - Nude Lingerie (a warm nude pink with sparkles) and 44 - Nude Lavalliere (an iconic pink nude). I particularly enjoy nude shades and these were just perfect for me. I am not a fan of most waxy lipsticks that dry my lips out, but these were the opposite of what I had expected. The YSL Loveshine Lipsticks contain 6 nourishing oils to provide hydration around the clock. Besides the beautiful shades these provide, I didn't mind the slight jelly-like scent from the lipsticks.

One thing that I found after using them throughout the day was that the color didn't stay for long after meals and drinks. Perhaps it may have been the lighter, nude shades I was testing that tend to come off easily. Otherwise, these kept my lips plump and visibly nourished. I have received several compliments on the colors as well as the shine ✨️

Moisturizing and Buildable Colour!

This formula makes it easy to moisturize your lips without having to fuss with messy lip oil applicators in a tube. This lipstick does have a slight fragrance to it, so keep that in mind in case you're sensitive to scents. It's a nice formula that is quite buildable, but needs to be reapplied as needed. Shade 44 is a pinkish nude colour that I think will work well for those with neutral to cool undertones. The packaging is quite nice and luxurious as well!

Moisturizes Lips and Easy To Apply

This lip oil in lipstick format makes it easy to apply and moisturize your lips. It has a slight fragrance to it, but nothing too overwhelming. Because it is a lip oil consistency, you do have to reapply throughout the day. Shade 150 is a beautiful warm nude colour that I think will work very well with neutral to warm undertones. Easily buildable and has a nice range of shades available. Beautiful packaging by YSL as always!

A very versatile pink nude

I love this product! It feels like a light lip oil; sheer, moisturizing and slick. I have been applying it the same way I do my chapstick all day long and the colour is sheer enough that you can pull that off!

The tube has some weight to it which makes it feel super luxe in my opinion.

Though I do not find it to last super long, the colour seems to subtly stick around long after the product itself seems to have faded away. I actually love this!

Shade 44 is meant to be an “iconic pink nude”. I once had a Sephora employee tell me that I had the sort of skin tone that could not pull off nude shades but this pink begs to differ in my opinion. When you build it up a bit I find it looks almost frosted if you’re into that vibe! Overall, a great day to day pink nude.

Shade 150 is actually my favourite. It is a beautiful warm nude that I feel looks good on my medium skin tone.

Beautiful but expensive

I really liked the formula and feel of this lipstick. It is creamy and buildable and goes on like a balm. But while I loved it, I find the price to be unreasonably high

Glossy and pink

The lipstick tube is beautiful and feels like high quality. The actual colour is like a perfect pink for spring/summer. I loved how the lipstick smelled, almost edible smelling! One swipe of the lipstick was enough for gorgeous pink tones that look super fresh. I did have to reapply later in the day but you don't use much of the actual stick to get a lot of gloss. I like too that it's paraben free and super hydrating. Definitely would recommend YSL loveshine lipsticks.
