Nice scent but not repurchasing

I liked the fresh scent of this and the concept of a gel cream (it was my first gel cream) but this did not live up to what I was hoping for. This was suggested to me as a better option to stay matte but I found that it sent my sebum production into overdrive every time I used it. I used it overnight a few times and was a shiny, oily mess in the mornings. When I used it in the day time, the same thing happened and it was probably only 30 mins tops before the oil came out to play. I've had mixed success with gel creams, and this one was a miss for me.
