Cute packaging, can't justify the price

I'd never tried any YSL products before trying this perfume. I enjoy the scent of this product but unfortunately, it's a little overwhelming, so I can only wear it occasionally. I do enjoy how long the scent lasts and how it feels on my skin. I think the packaging is super cute too!

Way too sweet

I wanted to love the scent because of all the hype surrounding it but it's way too sweet and childish! Has an overpowering sweet vanilla scent that smells like a drugstore perfume.

More coffee please

I actually tried the Black Opium Neon first and this one is less sweeter than the neon. If neon is a coffee flavoured candy, this one is more like a french vanilla latte. I'm definitely getting a lot of vanilla, but not in an overpowering way, but more like in a soft, creamy way. I definitely walk more coffee as it is advertised though.
This is a pretty simple scent, so it's a bit pricey. I think if you are budget conscious, it's compareable to some bath and body works scents, just cleaner.

Intoxicating

I love the scent of Black Opium by YSL. I used to covet the original Opium but I enjoy this scent more. such a great blend of scents from bourbon, coffee, and florals. The only downfall is Black Opium does not last long. Great romantic scent though!

Makes Me Feel So Sexy

I LOVE the smell of this and it makes me feel like throwing on some lingerie and strutting my stuff. However, I find I can mostly keep the scent to linger but wondering if anyone as tips? I tried Vaseline it definitely changed the chemistry and made it a little more spicy. So I'd love to hear what people do to bring out the best of it

Bit expensive

I find this perfume very nice not too overpowering like most perfumes and and lasts long unlike other perfumes I’ve tried I find it a bit too expensive but I would still buy it when it’s on offer

Feminine perfume

I'm not usually a fan of sweet gourmand perfumes but this one is an exception. I don't care that it is worn by every other girl on the street, I still love this perfume. The longevity is quite short on my skin unfortunately and have to say the Zara dupe works a little better in this area and also it's way cheaper than YSL.

classy

this product definitely has this amazing classy and expensive feel, this also is an edgy long lasting perfume. my favourite no doubt. i always buy a new one when i finish a bottle

Black Opium

I love the smell on me. I wore it in my wedding day and lasted the entire day! While, I love the scent, is is pricey. Would make an awesome gift for someone special!

One of my favs!

I got this product at shoppers. It came in a gift set & I did bonus redemption. So, i ended up paying around $20 for it. Which obviously is a great deal. I use this everyday & it’s quickly become a go to. It has a light scent, is not too feminine, and lasts all day. If you do purchase this, highly recommend getting it from Shoppers!
