I love YSL perfumes and was prepared to love this one too. What I love about most YSL fragrances is the sheer sophistication and subtle smoothness. Not so with "Paris". It is heavy with floral and fruity notes where I prefer spicy oriental. Those who like floral scents may love this, because even underneath the floral is that signature YSL sophisticated base note. A little less floral/fruity and a little more spicy/oriental would have suited me better. Can't fault the perfume... just not for me.
