90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I received all three shade samples I'm 1-pink 2-yellow beige 3-dark beige. The second was closer to my skin tone. It's decent for highlighting under the eye and concealing. The formula is creamy. The price is expensive.
Yves Saint Laurent TOUCHE ÉCLAT Radiant Touch is a brush-on highlighter that is ingeniously packaged in a click pen-style component that features a built-in synthetic brush for easy application. Simply click the one end of the pen to get the product to come to the top of the brush tip. The first time around, you’ll have to do several clicks to get the product to the top, but after a few uses, one or two clicks is often enough. It has a creamy and smooth texture that goes on fairly sheer. It doesn’t settle into fine lines, doesn’t crease and doesn’t fade for a solid 12 hours. is applied under the eyes, it will help to eliminate shadows and dark circles, by adding light and creating an instant lift to the under eye area. If used between the eyebrows and along the side of the nose, it will give the illusion of wider, more awake looking eyes. Finally, when used in the hollow of the chin and around the contour of the lips, it will create fuller, kissable, poutier looking lips.
I had to do quite a fair bit of blending with my Beauty Blender as these brush applicators are more like dispensers than applicators. One of my biggest issues with this new Touche Éclat is that it is $22 MORE than the original. I understand that the colour is different, but the packaging is exactly the same and there is still 2.5mL of product in it. I’m just confused as to why there is such a huge price difference. Based on the results I got, I’d rather just use the original Touche Éclat which is already fairly pricey at $50 CDN.
I didn’t notice this until I looked closely, but there are gold specks in this Touche Éclat formulation that I didn’t mind around my eye area, but along my smile lines? I’m not sure if I want to be glittery there. If you are a die hard Touche Éclat fan, you will probably have to have this rose gold version, but if you are just looking for a product to enhance your complexion and make you look more awake, I feel like your $72 can be better spent. Sorry Touche! I will say that I DID look quite radiant and glowy after applying this in the recommended areas, so it DOES work, but I am still more a fan of the original version both for sentimental and practical reasons and will most likely save this new version for holiday parties.
I have very dark circles around my eyes. This does absolutely nothing to cover them whatsoever. I have to first put concealer on and then use this down my nose, above my Cupid's bow and on top of my cheeks as a highlighter (only because it was so expensive and I don't want to waste it). NOT A CONCEALER BY ANY MEANS!
I honestly feel like the touche eclat is a miracle worker. After I had a baby, I did not go anywhere without putting it on first. It really adds definition and sculpts your face, and it comes in different colours to suit all skin tones. I personally find the price is just a touch high, but if you're going to go for it, it really does brighten up your face.
amazing!
For someone who is always looking to hide under eyebags this is perfect. Instantly brightens the face. Sleep in a little pen! I also love using it as a highlighter on brow bones and my nose and tips of the lips. Only con I have its a click and it takes a while for it to come out, so after a few impatient clicks TOO much comes out
It is a pricey item so I usually save it for special events but i was also lucky enough to get my name engraved on the cap too (●´∀`●)
I really do love my highlighters and this is the first one I ever purchased. It has a great little click and brush on function that measures each bit. The tube I had lasted about 3 years using it on special occasions. It works as a great undereye concealer too!
Although I really was taken aback by the price on this item; I have been somewhat pleased with the results. It's amazing as a highlighting item, for me it didn't do a lot for the dark rings under my eyes. It does soften them somewhat but I would have liked for it to provide much more coverage than in did. I give it a decent rating because it does well as a highlighter,
I absolutely love the YSL Touche Eclat and if it weren't for the incredibly high price, I would repurchase this constantly. With that being said, it's fabulous for highlighting the areas of your face you want to bring forward like the browbone or bridge of your nose. However, if you have very light undereye circles, it could be used as a concealer to cover up that area. It won't work well as a concealer if your circles are pretty dark, but after you apply your regular concealer, you can then use this to brighten up under your eyes. The product comes in a fancy gold tube which looks very chic and elegant. You need to click the button on the end to get the product to come out of the brush tip applicator. It's very easy to apply and goes on smoothly. It also blends really well and will not cake or crease. Excellent product!
I received this as a tiny sample and gave it a try.
I LOVE this and would certainly buy it if i didn't have truck loads of cosmetics and make up aready
On my sample it indicated where to apply the product (under eyes, middle of foreheard, bridge or nose, upper cheekbones, etc)
The full size product looks like a pen so it would be easy to define the area.
Mine was just a seal postcard so i used my fingers to dab a little under my eyes and forehead. I noticed pretty instantly that i look not only more awake but polished and glowing.
