Terrible Taste

I was excited to buy a value pack at Costco. But whether I bbq or air fry them, they are so yucky! I tried onions and tomatoes on them with banana peppers but the taste is really unpleasant. I'm going to stick with turkey hot dogs as I bought these for the low calories, not because I am vegan.

A must

Had these for lunch with my husband and they were a hit. We do not eat much processed food so this was a treat. I am a vegan and my husband is not what a hit, fast and easy. He loved them and would rather this option going forward.

Excellent alternative to traditional hot dogs.

Yves hot dogs are a great replacement for meat. They can be eaten as a hot dog or cut up and added to sauce or beans. A good source of iron and vitamin B12, necessary in a vegan or vegetarian diet. The cost is reasonable. I would highly recommend this product!

Favourite Hot Dog

I LOVE THESE HOT DOGS!!!

They’re incredible! They cook fast, taste amazing and last long! I buy the Family Pack, freeze the ones I won’t use and just thaw them out overnight, and I’ll have hot dogs for the morning! So good that even my meat lover dad liked them, and he’s not easy to please when it comes to fake meat!

Not what I was expecting

I have been trying many different vegetarian options and we didn't like these veggie dogs. I thought that they would be tasty and nutritious but the smoke flavour is overpowering. We couldn't taste much else!

Ruined my childhood

My parents were vegetarian and my dad would make these on weekends. No matter how much ketchup I put on it, it doesn't camouflage the smell or taste. When I got older I put onions, relish, mustard and ketchup to get rid of the smell/taste, and asked that they be cut in half and grilled to a crisp. If you are forced to eat these, find toppings that can mute the taste and smell; and grill them till crispy in oil. Smells like rubber fumes.

Great taste!

They are really jumbo size. I don't have to use two hot dogs to fill the bun anymore. Its taste is really good, even for meat eaters. You will not miss hot dogs at all.

Taste is ok..but I guess so is a meat hotdog

I bought these to try and compare them to meet hot dogs. I don't know what I was expecting but the flavour was lacking that salty umami that meat hotdogs have. Also the texture was so real like a meat hot dog that it kind of turned me off, especially since I wouldn't eat a regular hot dog cause of what's in it. If I were at a BBQ and this was my only option then I'd eat it. But I don't think I'd run out to get these again.

Not bad but not the best.

The texture is okay but not my favourite. It's okay when you're craving a hot dog but personally I like the texture of the tofurkey brand better.

The flavour isn't bad I just think the texture isn't a hit for me. If you cut it up and fry it and add it into pasta or even a salad It's better but just by itself its meh.

Ok honest? I love these so much I eat them cold even when I need a grab and go protein fix. 9g of protein, great taste, low fat and very Yummy.
Very good quality and I got my money's worth for sure! I definitely reccomend this!
