Couldn’t really review
Received this product for free in exchange for my review. Unfortunately my daughter absolutely did not like the taste of this one as she doesn’t like peach so I was not able to really review the effectiveness of the product. It tasted just fine too me but we all know if the child doesn’t like the taste it is a battle to get them to take it.
I don’t find it effective
I don’t see any change on his cough after taking for a week. I find it ineffective, I don’t think this is something for our family to keep trying on for a while.
Doesn't Work
Zarbee's Baby Soothing Cough Syrup in honey flavour was a hit! My baby loved the taste. I don't know that it was very effective though. The ingredient panel doesn't list any medicinal ingredients so this seems like a holistic approach. I wouldn't buy again just because we want to use acetaminophen or ibuprofen to properly treat our kids.
Not good taste and effects
Its not good as shown on the advertisement like it doesn't taste good as well as it doesn't have good effect..we have to combine with physician referral medicine to get relive.
Watered down honey
As a parent, I'm really disappointed by this product. When my child is sick, the last thing I want to worry about is the ingredients in the product I bought from the brand I trust. And although the ingredients in this cough syrup wouldn't be harmful in any way, the syrup is basically watered down honey with some peach flavouring and citric acid. It tasted like a slightly tart, barely peachy honey. It has the same effect on cough as giving honey (because that's what it is). The only positive I can find is that because it's more liquid than pure honey, it can be easier to swallow for younger kids. That's all. I love the brand, but not this particular product, and can't recommend it at all.
My daughter hates the taste!
Unfortunately my daughter hates the taste! She doesn’t have a problem taking the common fever reducing medication but this cough syrup was a fight and just when she needs it most she refuses hopfuly when she gets older she will under stand it can help her! I did try it one day out of curiosity when I had a sore throat and the honey is definitely night for the throat but I can’t say I’d recommend it! I’m going to pass it onto my best friend with 3 kids and see if they like it!
