Excellent cold medicine

Zarbees cough syrup worked incredible for kids when they were just sick with colds. They said it tastes great and makes them feel really better they especially loved the grape flavor. I wil be buying and telling people about zarbees cold/cough syrups

According to my kids, it tastes ok. Not the greatest. Did help them with coughing fits and to get a good night sleep! Helped with sore throat as well. Good size bottle too.

Natural remedy for cough and cold

I tried Zarbee's Complete Cough + Cold for my kid when he was having severe cough + flu. It really helped him control his cough and reduced his flu symptoms as well. The taste is like honey mixed with a little hint of turmeric and color is yellow too. My son is ok with the taste and doesnt complain about it. Only concern i have with these kind of herbal medicines is that they are unable to get the fever down. For that i need to use other commonly used allopathic medicines like ibuprofen and acetaminophin. Overall, if you wanna reduce the very irritating cough and sooth soar throat, this is a good natural product to that.

Natural cough and cold syrup for kids

Just in time for a cold and flu season we got Children's Complete Cough + Cold Syrup: 6-12 years, Grape flavour. As the weather is getting colder, kids are getting sick easily, sore throat, runny nose, cough and fever, sometimes just after playing outside. My child tried this syrup when he got a cold, he did not feel good for a while and said he had a sore throat. The medicine helped him to feel much better. My boy likes the taste, mild and sweet enough. I like that this Zarbee's syrup is made of natural ingredients. The top cup design is very cute, and kids love it, but it does not have 5 ml measurement line, only 10ml.

My son hated it.

I was excited for my son to try Zarbee's® Children's Complete Cough + Cold Syrup, because it has lots of natural ingredients, like honey, English ivy leaf, marshmallow root, turmeric, B vitamins, and zinc. It is also free of dyes, alcohol, artificial sweeteners and artificial flavours. I always prefer a natural product when it's effective and available.

My son, however, was not a fan of the look, taste or effectiveness of this cough syrup. He was put off by the colour and consistency of the syrup and really did not like the taste. I tried a tiny bit on my fingertip before giving it to my son and I personally liked the real grape flavour, even if it was a bit on the sweet side. He also thought that his cough actually got worse instead of better. I did not notice an improvement or decline in symptoms. It's difficult to judge the longer term effectiveness of this syrup, as my son refused to try it again.

One concern I do have is that the dosage cup that comes with the syrup only has a line for 10 ml when the dose is only 5 ml. As it also warns you not to give more than 2 doses in a day, this seems dangerous and increases the risk of accidental overdose. This is something that definitely needs to be fixed.

Although this didn't work for my son, it might be great for someone who is willing to try it more than once. Just be sure to use your own measuring device to avoid overdose.

Best medicine for cough and cold

Glad to received this for us to try a medicine that kids would love to drink. 2 days ago my daughter is not feeling well and have some cough and cold so I was able to try it for her. What I like the most to this medicine is that it comes with source of antioxidants and its a source of support for the immune system. My daugther said the flavor is good as well and it soothes her cough and cold. Glad I was able to received and try this product now I k ow what to buy for the future.

Zarbee's Cough and Cold Syrup

To be honest, I really thought we were going to like this brand. I mean they were right on point when it came to the idea and packaging. You know, Zarbee's and then you open it up and instead of a regular clear medicine cup, it's the cutest little honey comb cup. Now it was at this point I was very excited, like I was thinking my kid is actually not going to fight me on this, and she's going to love it. I mean it was even grape flavor, not cherry, already winning....

This is where things take a turn for the worst.

So I open the little silver seal and like all parents I smell it.

It smelled nothing like grape and really didn't smell like anything I could put my finger on really. But medicine all smells bad right???

So I then proceed to pour. Guys this is mustard yellow, smells foul, and almost like chalky.

I am like well, how bad can it be.

I give it to her. And here is the fight. She did after some major convincing "try" it and she, to put it lightly, did not like it.

I then dipped my pinky finger in and tried it myself. I don't know how this can be called grape flavor. It kinda tastes like it looks. Awful.

Now, like I said in the beginning it wasn't all bad right? We kept the little honey comb cup and it is now what we use to give her our usual brand of medicine in.

Great ingredients and tasty

I was so happy to try a natural cough syrup, one I would be comfortable giving to my kids as well as myself. It is quite sweet, but has that true honey flavour. My kids enjoyed the taste. My only warning would be that the turmeric in the syrup leaves stains if you spill on clothes or counters, be sure to clean up quickly.

Zarbee's Children's Complete Cough + Cold Syrup comes in a grape flavored liquid. It contains no alcohol, dyes, or artificial sweeteners/flavors, which I love about it. It is made for children 6-12 years old. My daughter liked the grape flavour, and it was really easy for her to take. I loved how it helped soothe her cough and congestion symptoms. This product also is a source of antioxidants and helps in energy metabolism, and supports the immune system. It's a really effective cough and cold product for parents who like giving their children natural products, that work well. I would buy this again!

Cute and effective!

What great timing this was as it is officially cough & cold season in our household especially now that school and B&A care are in full swing. My stepdaughter caught her first cold of the season with a runny nose and pretty consistent cough. We gave her this syrup to try and we were so happy with the results as it would slow and stop her cough long enough to give her some relief so she could get some much needed rest.

I love that the syrup contains natural immune boosting ingredients such as honey and turmeric. Best of all, my stepdaughter did not complain about the taste!

Happy to say that this will be in our regular rotation during cough and cold season!
