Great Syrup!

This is now my go to for Children's Cough and Cold! My kids are very picky and will refuse cough products but they willingly took this. I gave it a try as well and love the taste! It was effective at soothing their cough and clearing out mucus.

Tasty cough syrup

My kids love this cough syrup and despite no longer being ill, they’re still asking to have some in the morning and at bedtime. I highly recommend this product to caregivers as it is loved by children and effective.

I wanted to love it

I was lucky to be selected to try this product but unfortunately my kids hated it. First the appearance is like a runny mustard. Second they said it was too sour and wouldn't take more then a tiny sip.
I tried it myself thinking they were being over dramatic but it is indeed sour. And it left a not so great aftertaste. I also wasn't a fan of the conflicting strong honey base vs grape flavour as indicated on the bottle.
I really wanted to love this but sadly, I don't think my kids will be willing to even finish this bottle.

Smells ok….works fast!

My 11 year old wasn’t feeling well (sniffles, cough etc) and can’t swallow pills so a liquid medicine is the only thing that she will take. When she first went to take it she said it smelled “gross” (I thought it smelled good…a hint of honey). After she drank it she said, “it smelled worse than it tasted”. After about 2 doses she said she felt an improvement with how stuffy her nose was. She also said it soothed her throat. I would buy this again because it was fast acting.

Works Great!

My son recently had a small cough and upon taking this syrup it really seemed to have helped. I love that it's a mostly natural product. My preference is to give my son natural products and this checks the box. My son's only complaint is its a bit too sweet. I still do highly recommend it.

Great product!!

The kids really liked this cough syrup, and we would definitely purchase again! The reason for the 4 stars was for 2 reasons - (1) the kids were freaked out by the yellow colour; and (2) I would recommend not using the cap that comes with it (and use your own instead) as I found it was hard to get the full dose of the syrup out when taking the medicine. Other than those 2 considerations, the kids and I would definitely recommend this cough syrup.

My son, like many other kids that are back in school, is often sick and coming home with new bugs through the entire year! Naturally, he was sick again last week and we tested out the Zarbee's Complete Cough & Cold in grape flavour. My son said that immediately the itchiness in his sore throat was gone and his cough began to subside within 5-10 minutes. He didn't seem as congested anymore either. He said the flavour was very yummy! I think we've found a new cough & cold medicine around our house.

Tastes like honey

I tried this and it tastes like honey and made my throat feel better. However the color of it is awful and I could not get my child to even try it because of the color.

Zarbee's® Children's Complete Cough + Cold Syrup on my kids yet, thankfully they haven't actually been ill this school year so far. I did open it, it smells like a perfect mixture of honey and grape. It does look like yellow mustard though, which will be ok for my older kid but I'm wondering if that will pose resistance with my younger who doesn't like mustard. I have the syrup a little test myself and it tastes delicious, I have high hopes that it'll go down easy with the kids. If recommend on taste and smell, unknown how well it assists in relieving my little ones colds yet.

It actually works really good

It actually works really well for my kids. The taste is not the best but it is a medicine not a candy. I'm am really happy that you have the opportunity to try it. I will definitely buy it to have at home always to treat the cough. It works much better than any other medicine that I have before.
