Good but not impressive

I tried this syrup for my daughter. I liked the fact that I don't have to worry about the ingredients. However it was not very effective, her cough didn't change a bit after a few days I gave her. I am not sure if it works but I like the ingredients.

Finally something that works!

We used this for our 2 and 4 year old when they inevitably developed their first cough/ cold of the season. It was impressive how effective it was for both their cough and their throat! It was a rapid improvement and they like the taste which is so important! I appreciate that this syrup has no artificial sweeteners or dyes and was founded by a pediatrician. It utilizes the healing powers of honey, elderberry, zinc, and English ivy leaf which are all so excellent in reducing the duration and severity of symptoms for these viral illnesses! Zarbee’s is a welcome addition to the market and give parents peace of mind knowing they are not only choosing a solid product that works but helps everyone to feel better sooner. Nothing worse than a sick child. This will be our go to from now on! Would definitely recommend and will be trying other products from this brand.

Average cough and cold product

We tried out the Zarbees cough and mucus syrup and it was ok. The flavour was a little bit strong for my son, but it seemed to work for what we were treating. The “dosing cup lid” is too bulky and big to really use for a little kids dose so I’m glad we had a different medicine cup. I do like that it has natural ingredients and natural sweeteners. I wouldn’t go out of my way to choose this over other natural cough products though.

It helped relieve my child’s cough after couple days of usage. Dosage to take is on the body of the syrup.

Works well

This syrup came just when we needed it. My daughter has what seemed like a mild cold that turned into a devastating cough that, as usual, gets worse at night. We tried different home remedies, but nothing worked, and she is too young for most cough syrups. So when Zarbee's arrived, we tried it immediately. In short, it works. It doesn't completely help, but it provides some relief, and considering that it doesn't have any real medication in it, we were happy with the results. Would I use a stronger cough syrup if there was one? Absolutely. But this one is great for milder coughs, younger children, or as a first thing to try before using medicated ones.

This sample came at the perfect time! My youngest is sick right now and has a pretty bad cough. We tried this cough syrup and love it. When my son first tried the medicine he had a funny look on his face. I wasn’t sure if he liked it, but after a few seconds he gave me the thumbs up and said it’s yummy. It is in the thicker side of medicine which is why I think he was a little thrown off at first. But in the end he liked it so I guess it didn’t matter to much. It seemed to have soothed his throat as he wasn’t coughing as much which made me happy. I also love that’s it’s natural. We received the mixed berry flavour to sample for free in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say I would definitely purchase this in the future.

Berry flavour! So yummy!

I received this product in the mail to try and and my son was very excited to give it a try! He’s been sick the past couple days and he loves the flavour! Great medicine!

It works!

When your little ones are sick, you want to do everything you can to help them feel better as soon possible but sometimes, the ingredients in children’s medicines can make you cringe and wonder if you’re doing more harm than good. Luckily with Zarbees, that’s not the case. With no artificial sweeteners or flavours, no dyes and no alcohol, I can confidently give this to my children and know that I’m giving my children what’s best for them. This natural medicine tastes good, comes with a cute “bee cup” for measuring (both make this easier to give to a sick toddler!) and most importantly, it works. This will definitely become a staple in our medicine cabinet.

Great Ingredients, Kids didn’t like taste

I love that the ingredients I use for myself when I’ve got a cough are all in this syrup, especially zinc and honey. Unfortunately, my twins would not take it because they didn’t like the taste. They’re 5 and stubborn; my older kids would likely quickly swallow it and chase it with water, but if you have a child who can’t just swallow a syrup if they don’t like the taste, this one might not be suitable.

Amazing Ingredients!

Absolutely love the ingredients! My son really liked it- helped with his cough. Definitely recommend this cough and mucus syrup to all parents. My son tried the mixed berry flavour and absolutely love it!
