Great water quality, poor pitcher design

The water quality where we live is already quite good, but my landlord bought the pitcher for me and we used it for 2 years. We never had to replace the filter because the meter kept showing "00" - we tested it frequently against tap water, and the meter worked and there was never a fishy smell (which some have reported). The pitcher however wasn't well made, the lid doesn't really clip down, so when you pour from it the lid often falls off. It also always spills, I don't know if it's because the spout is too wide, but almost constantly getting wet when pouring meant almost exclusively using the spigot on the back end. The spigot pours too slowly.

Purchased this after having water quality issues that really affected the taste (even had the city come to check and they agreed something was off). Previously used a Brita which only lowered particle count by a fraction. The zero water filter made a huge difference, our water finally tastes as water should! I love how you can pore from the jug or use the press button on the outside. The filters are a bit expensive and I can only find them at walmart so far, but its totally worth it! Be sure to change these regularly as needed or else the filter will begin to smell (a bit fishy) from all the compounds it takes out of the water and affect the taste.

My problem with this product is that it spills when you pour it. Not impressed, Paid a lot for the water filter jug and hate that every time you pour a glass of water it drips. It make a mess all the time have to do it in the sink.
