A lot easier and safer to use to trim babys nails.

I'd highly recommend buying this nail trimmer! It's battery operated and comes with pads for the different age of your child. It makes nail trimming so easy and painless. Since it's so easy I tend to use it 2 times per week to keep my daughters nails short. This way she hasn't scratched her face once! It has a light buzzing noise that my baby loves and she tends to sleep through it. For me what I like the best is there is no way I can hurt her since it's just an electric file - so no worry with clippers. It's pricey, but I'd buy it again (and have for my friends!).
