A very fun interactive toy!

We were super excited to receive the Playful Pup to review! Upon receiving it and opening the package, there was just enough battery for us to try it out. We immediately noticed that we had one of the defective legs. I tried following the instructions and still managed to break the leg off and can not fix it. What little we were able to play with the toy though we thoroughly enjoyed. Both my 5 and 9 year old sons managed to teach the pup to roll over and loved the sounds that he made in response to their play. I would love to be able to get the item fixed if possible and then will be sure to let my boys to continue the fun! My only warning is to be extremely careful when adjusting the leg or it may break and ruin the fun!

Not completely disappointed

Overall, it was not a bad product. This is the closest to real life that you'll get with a toy. It is responsive to touch and voice commands. Very interactive and even barks! With the voice recognition you can even teach pup to respond to whatever name child gives it. It can walk, pounce and so many other dog like things you’ll forget it isn’t real. Lightweight for easy transport. Comes with a quick start guide and a charging cable. Easy to use.

Great interactive toy

Zoomer Playful Pup is super cute and super easy to use. i love the fact that it did seem like a real dog and it was super interactive. it was like have a real pet. However my child did become disinterested in it within 2 weeks . To be honest i felt if a child has never have a real pet this would have been great however due to the fact that my children have 2 dogs i believe that's why they lost interest so quickly.

Adorable pup for kids!

Adorable AI pup for kids! This pup was so much fun to play with. After you charge it and turn it on, it provides kids with so much fun! You can teach it tricks, suppose to recognize its own voice when called and more. So far we have got it to come, sit, lie down and play dead. It does have a few issues and sometimes you have to repeat yourself to get it to do what you want. It is suppose to walk but more like it wiggles instead. My kids loved it and I think it is a great interactive toy for any kid to have. Every time they play with it they discover something new it does!

Fun while it lasted, literally.

We were so excited when we learned we got chosen to get this toy for free! Once we received the toy (we got the puppy by the way) we charged him up for an hour just as it stated in the instruction booklet. When my daughter switched him on it was amazing and so life like. He sat when she told him to sit down, he would roll over on his back and she rubbed his tummy. Shortly after that he stopped moving and his eyes were still green. We kept trying to see what was wrong with him but by the look of it he needed to be charged, AGAIN. 20 minutes didn’t even pass yet and he stopped working. The same thing kept happening over and over again until she eventually got tired of it happening while she was trying to say the commands to him. This toy is brilliant but I think this specific one we received might have been defective.

Our new puppy!

We received out playful pup on my daughters birthday last week. Fist thing we did was turn him on and he started playing right away I liked the fact that you didn’t have to do a bunch of set up to be able to play with it as soon as it was opens. We then named him “puppy” that was a simple process. My daughter played with him for a n hour or so before the battery died and we had to plug him in. I was surprised that she was able to play with him right away I had figured we would need to charge it before playing. The one down fall we have found is that it dosent pick up on our voices really well but it will pick up on my husbands so I’m assuming that my daughter and my voices are too soft to pick up and since it’s a kids toy not a dads toy that kinda sucks. Her favorite part so far is that is “pees” on the floor she laughed so hard at that. Even baby sister is getting in on playing with him, and we love giving him snuggles. Over all I think this is a really neat toy, I feel like it is a bit over priced for what it is but it is competitively price with other toys similar to it. We love o puppy!

A great toy pet

My family loves Zoomer the playful pup. It took me a little bit of time to get the pup out of the box but, when I did he was ready to play. I also had difficulty locating the instructions. The quick start guide and instruction book were at the bottom of the box and I had to open the bottom in order to get to them. Once, reading the instructions we had a better understanding of what all Zoomer could do. He is like an actually pup and great for families who can't have pets due to allergies, etc. My son and I love that Zoomer responds so well to touch like an actual pup. My son loves giving kisses and snuggles to Zoomer and I enjoy giving him belly rubs when he rolls over. We are still learning and training Zoomer. Zoomer is so interactive and fun that it's like we actually have a pet pup. It's awesome that there is voice recognition technology and all the tricks we can teach Zoomer. There is a switch that you can change the language as well from English, Spanish, and French. We have been have tons of fun playing with Zoomer. I feel like the quality and value of this product is great and would recommend this toy to friends and family members. I have found that I need to charge the pup everyday though. I wish the charge would last longer than it does for the price. I did receive this toy for free from Family rated in return for my honest review of the product.

Cool little robot

After receiving this puppy robot for free to review, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised how much I actually enjoyed this toy. My son loved it too! We really loved playing with it as a family. Watching it do tricks and following voice commands was so cool! I did wish that it walked around but it really does do a lot of stuff. No dog poop to clean up either! I would definitely recommend anyone with a kid to check this toy out!!
