I don't like these eye crayons, I find that they aren't as smooth to apply as I would like and the colors are too harsh! I'm always blotting and wiping away to try and get a lighter pigment - very disappointed for these, will add them to my halloween makeups

This is my holy grail, daily eyeliner. It is not as harsh as a black pencil, and has just a tiny bit of sparkle to brighten up a matte work eye. It works really well on my oily eyelids. I have been using it for years and always have at least one on hand.

This is a retractable eye liner that goes on smoothly and doesn't smudge. It has Vitamin E so it's also not irritable for my sensitive eyes. It is quite pricey though, and there are other comparables at a lower price point that have the same effect and qualities.

I don't often use this as a liner, I more often use it as a brow filter. Short strokes in the brow make the perfect fill.

If you're looking for an inexpensive black liner this is your basic pencil black liner, and you can't beat the price tag.

The Missha liquid eyeliner may not be waterproof, however, the application is so smooth and the tip is so fine you can get any thickness with it. The brush is yet to be my most favourite of all and the black is pretty pigmented so you only need one streak across.
