Peaches 'n cream-complected young people need not apply, but the rest of us need a little help evening out skin tone, hiding sun damage, and masking enlarged pores. That's where a proper foundation comes in. There are two main ways to use this product: mineral powder (praised for its non-comedogenic and natural sun blocking properties) and liquid formulations (best for creating a dewy glowing look). Be sure to change your usual shade by season to best match your natural tone. If you can't decide between two shades, go for the darker one to give your complexion warmth and mask flaws better.
ChickAdvisor members give props to powdered foundations from Bare Escentuals bareMinerals, MAC Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation, and Maybelline New York Mineral Power Loose Foundation. High marks for liquid formulas belong to Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse, Marcelle New-Age Anti-Wrinkle Makeup, and Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation.

I've tried multiple drug store foundations and this one is by far my favorite. I would consider it full coverage and it doesn't make me oily. I am very pale and i managed to find my shade in this. I also love the applicator. I would 100% repurchase.

I love the natural ingredients. A little goes a long way and coverage is buildable. Powder blends really well so I can wear it only where needed (under eyes) and keep a fresh face everywhere else. The slider on the pot is the best, you can travel with this loose foundation...

I've been using this product for years. I always try and find a drugstore product comparable but never have. It's worth a little extra cost . It leaves you with excellent coverage without being heavy or "cakey' looking.

I think this is more of a novelty item, to be honest, I didn't like the formula, I found it very cakey and the applicator isn't really that helpful in applying the foundation. This was really more trouble than it's worth.

Where do I start .. I absolutely love this foundation!! I tried this after watching a YouTube video review and had passed it numerous time in the drugstore but never gave it another thought. It is full coverage, not overly thick consistency and blends really well. It does have...

I started wearing this foundation when I received a bottle as a Christmas gift this year. My favourite part of this foundation is the actual applicator - it’s a larger version of the doe foot applicator, so therefore it’s great for the distribution of the product. I like...

I got this in a mystery bag as a gift with purchase deal. Normally, darkening my foundation is the exact opposite of what I need (I am extremely pale) but I did find some really good uses for this other than darkening foundation.
I mix a drop or two with a pump of foundation...

I absolutely love this product. I use this all the time in fact. I have really red skin at times and this helps to calm that. I actually don’t know what I’d do without this cream.

This is a great make up. It is an old faithful that I will always run back to. The coverage could be a bit better and A bit thicker. Overall good coverage and blends evenly

This product is nestled nicely in a slender glass bottle with a pump. I chose the shade, “Buff” (the 3rd shade in 14 shades series) because it has a bit of a yellow undertone to it. It went on a bit light but it actually blended nicely into my skin and matched my skin tone...

This foundation is a bit tricky. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out. I found it works best (oddly) when you DONT use any primer, and just a small amount of oil free moisturizer that dries down. If I use a primer, it seems to slip and slide all over my face...

Over the summer months I wanted a product that would give me the most coverage, without feeling heavy and without covering up my freckles (which I get a ton of in the summer time). I came across First Aid Beauty Skin Tint and decided to give it a try.
I love the fact that this...

I habe mixed feelings about this foundation. I would describe it as light to medium coverage. It does cover some minor blemishes and evens out my skin color pretty well. However, its definitely not full coverage as I have a few birth marks on...

I love It Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation. It wears well on my mature (46 yr old) face without settling into wrinkles or exaggerating pores. It's a bit expensive but well worth every penny.

I find the foundation to be streaky no matter what I use to apply it to my face. Otherwise it’s not a bad foundation the coverage it offers is pretty good and colour matches well.
