Cracking, peeling, chapping, and redness: all these evils are quickly nixed with a soothing swipe of your favourite lip balm. Best of all, most lip balm lines now blend medicine-cabinet-functionality with beauty-basket-gorgessity. Many brands are also looking to food-grade and organic ingredients for your peace of mind to go with that sweet 'n sassy pucker.
Top names in lip balm on ChickAdvisor are Burt's Bees, Softlips, and Carmex, with Smith's Rosebud Salve and Kiehl's #1 in hot pursuit. Bonne Bell is there with their flavoured Lip Smackers, bringing us that 7th-grade Dr Pepper nostalgia.

I bought the E.L.F. lip color from the Dollartree for $1.40 It is a lovely rosey pink color. It goes on well under or over lip colors or is good just on its own. I really like it. It is definately worth the cost to buy it. I felt like I got a good return and value for the money.

I adore this product. I love this one a bit more than the regular vaseline because it’s pink and rose flavoured. It makes my lips look pink without the use of a lipstick.

This product has a great smell and the packaging is very cute. I have loved burts bees items in the past and specifically their chapsticks, although it is not creamy and almost wax like it did not do anything for my lips and was very expensive.

I am obsessed with this lip balm. It’s an important essential in my bag all the time.Highly recommended for dry chapped lips. One tip use the body shop lip scrub(any) atleast twice a week, and feel the difference.

Quite literally the only thing that saves my lips during the winter months.
I suffer from cracked dry lips, but if I apply this product before bedtime I wake up with kissable soft lips.
It’s quiet expensive, but a little goes a long way

After having adult braces my lips were SO dry. I tried so many products and the majority of them were just greasy and sat on the lips. I found this in France and it is far superior to anything else, it’s like a cream butter and softens the lips and keeps them soft for a while...

Carmex used to be the only lip balm I would use! I absolutely love it. Carmex has a very distinctive scent so you'll know what it is immediately if you smell it. The cherry one has a somewhat strong but intensely refreshing scent to it that invigorates your senses. The color is...

It is just moisturise on few minutes hours from application. After awhile the lip is back to dry scaly version and gives no inner moisture for the lips.

Meh. It's a good one to have in a pinch, but I'm not a big fan. I got Manuka Honey. The smell and flavor are not great for me. The lip balm doesnt moisturizer as much as you would expect.

I like to use this product on a daily basis. It adds a nice, light hint of colour and shimmer to my lips. This product is useful on dry chapped lips as well. It leaves my lips feeling fresh and moisturized.

I love the subtle color this is in my lips. It isn't sticky. It's smooth. Doesn't taste like anything. Makes my lips shiny and soft. Stays on. Can get really melty in the hot summer.

This lip balm is THE BEST plus it’s organic and cruelty free. Glided in easily, works instantly, leaves breath feeling fresh. I first bought it a Glen Ivy Spa and was so sad when it ran out, turns out it’s at target for like 2.99!!

I have multiple of this product in different colours and it's amazing. Smells good, feels good, stays on well enough. Changes texture when melted, but otherwise it's a great product.

The W7 Lip Bomb lip balm is, by far, one of the best lip balms that I’ve ever had! I bought the raspberry version, and it is just delicious - it smells amazing, feels great on, and is so moisturising!
