Unless breast-feeding your newborn is completely out of the question for you, a quality breast pump should be one of the first products you list on your baby shower gift registry. For some, a breast pump is simply a tool of convenience to prepare feedings when you're away from baby. For others who struggle with milk over- or underproduction, it can be a life saver.
Pumps are available in single or double models and in a range of power sources: electric, manual, and/or battery powered. Look for a brand whose replacement parts are readily available. Major brands include Philips Avent and Medela.

I have used 4 different double electric pumps, this was the only one that was worth it’s money. I pump every two hours and this pump is easy to use hands free, easy to clean (very important) and is very efficient in collecting the milk. I would buy this again and again.

I absolutely love the haaka. It catches every letdown so no milk is wasted. It's easy to put on and comfortable. It draws the letdown out so catches more than a shell. The only downside is it doesn't pull alot of hindmilk.

I’m exclusively pumping and have already used different milk bags. This is my favourite so far. The bag is designed nicely and there are words of encouragement written on each bag. The material is very nice too.

Using a hakaa was SO MUCH easier than pumping. Just pop it on the side that the baby isn’t eating from and milk just collects, no effort!! I wish I’d started using it from day one, it’s pure magic!

Medela Pump in style of Advanced is great. It’s small and compact easy to use. It’s small enough you can fit it in the diaper bag. You can even use it in the car. Love it it’s a double pump and would highly recommend it to breastfeeding mothers.

I used Spectra 2 with my first born and loved it. It was great but hated being stuck to the wall while pumping. This pump allowed me to walk around the house while pumping and gave me a chance to still run after the kids or do chores at the same time.

I honestly love this pump alot of people foubt it because its just 1 pump but for new moms this id amazing if ur doing it right its almost pain free and sooo much easier then having the sit there with a big old machine this is sooo light weight and sooo convenient!
