Heineken Mini-Keg

1 review

The Heineken Mini-Keg, or Heinekeg, is an awesome addition to any house party or BBQ. It's fairly inexpensive and the keg usually comes with two (nice) Heineken beer glasses and a whole bunch of coasters. The only downside is that if you get a number of the kegs over the years...
Mill St Wit

1 review

Mill St Brewery originated in Toronto, Ontario, but also has one of their Flagship brew pubs here, in Ottawa, Ontario - the food is exquisite and they have their main and special beers on tap! Wit is a classic Belgian style beer which is non-offensive to new craft beer...
Sonoma Cider Anvil, Bourbon Flavoured

1 review

A great organic cider. The bourbon flavoured Sonoma cider is spicy, tarte, and tasty. It's a reasonable price, comes in a four pack, and is great cold.
Broadhead Brewing Underdog Pale

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! This is a hoppy bitter beer - I have to be in a hoppy mood to enjoy this, or it has to be my second pint...
Angry Orchard Muse

1 review

Expensive, but worth it. I love it, it's 7% abv, it's tasty, but very sweet
Beyond the Pale - The Party Animal

1 review

Beyond the Pale is another Ottawa brewery that is quite experimental with their beers - they always have something new out! Party Animal will bring that out in you - at 9% alcohol content, it has very strong effects on the body! It's a bit tropical, hoppy, with a bit of malt...
whitewater Brewing- Class V

Yeah sorry this is not a great flavored India pale ale for any experienced beer drinker. Very pungent and sour...not smooth at all and I would never recommend this to anyone!
Broadhead Wildcard Ale

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! Wildcard Ale is broadhead's inconsistent beer - on purpose. It's a lightly hoppy beer - but they tend to...
Big Rig Byward Brown

Big portions, food was great, service was awesome but was a bit expensive. I would go again but clearly its expensive for a supper, super cool place thoughht.
Ashton Brewing Company - Cream Ale

1 review

Ashton Brewing Company is located in Ashton, Ontario, and has been brewing their own beer for several decades now. This is one of my least favourite brews from Ashton Station. It's a Cream Ale - it doesn't do much for my palette, and doesn't give me what I want out of a beer -...
Magners Pear Cider

1 review

Mmmmm a nice dry pear cider, it isn't sweet, but I wouldn't want to get shit faced off of it
Mill St Stock Ale

1 review

Mill St Brewery originated in Toronto, Ontario, but also has one of their Flagship brew pubs here, in Ottawa, Ontario - the food is exquisite and they have their main and special beers on tap! Stock Ale has to be the least offensive craft brew out there. It's actually rather...
Big Rig India Pale Ale

1 review

Big Rig is a local Ottawa brewery with its flagstaff locations in the Westend. It is owned by one of the Ottawa Senators (whose name I don't recall - I don't pay attention to hockey). Big Rig's India Pale Ale has a bit of kick with their hop, but it a little bit TOO citrusy for...
Bicycle Craft Brewery - Velocipede

1 review

Bicycle Craft Brewery is located in an industrial park in Ottawa, Ontario. The owners are quite friendly and love their craft! Velocipede is their staple beer - with bitter hops, a slight pine and floral scent, and a nice light colour, it goes down quite nicely for an Indian...
shocktop

Great citrus beer and perfect if you want to try something new. This beer has just the right amount of citrus, but isn't too sweet. Perfectly thirst quenching and it's easy to have more than one. Affordable and easy to find at the beer store! Would definitely recommend!
Rickard's white belgian style

5,4% alc. Light taste of belgian style wheat ale ! Love love love
Rock Creek Cider

3 reviews

The Rock Creek Cider is dry - so it's not sweet and has enough bubbles. The taste reminds me of kumbucha. If you like kombucha like me, you'll like this cider. It'll go nice with a light fish or seafood dish, Chinese hotpot or Japanese shabushabu. Cheers!
Shocktop Rasberry Ale

2 reviews

I bought this because I really enjoyed the orange shock top, it unfortunely the raspberry taste is not good to me. I didn't care for it at all. The price is good, and it is not a heavy beer, so it pairs well with a lot of things.
Strongbow Apple cider with elderflower

3 reviews

This cider has a nice flowery taste from the elderflower. It is light and adds a pleasantness and floral flavour. It does however add quite a bit of sweetness. This is a little sweeter than I normally like my cider. But it's really good with lots of ice.
Beyond the Pale - Rye Guy

1 review

Beyond the Pale is another Ottawa brewery that is quite experimental with their beers - they always have something new out! Rye Guy is a full bodied beer with a hint of Rye - I'm not a big Rye fan, so I usually just have a sample size of this - leaving the rest to my Husband to...
