Looking for authentic Jamaican food in Brampton? Look no further, this place has it! The food is flavourful and the portions are beyond satisfying. The cashier taking the orders isn't the friendliest but the owners are a sweet ma and pop. Hope you check it out.
Island Palace

This place is superb. My co-workers and I frequent it on the regular; it's actually quite dangerous to have it so close to home and work. The portions are enormous (so even if you order the small, it's more than enough for two people). The price is reasonable also for the amount...

If you're jonzing for jerk chicken, rice and peas or oxtail...THIS is the place to go. I've never had moister jerk chicken and the oxtail gravy is just like homemade. Expect to spend a few hours on the treadmill burning this all off but totally worth it.

Randy's at 1569 Eglinton Ave West (by Oakwood) is a busy Jamaican take-out spot with classic entrees like oxtail and jerk chicken but is probably most famous for its patties. In fact the only Jamaican patty I have eaten in the city of Toronto that I liked better than a...
