Michele Chiarlo Moscato D'asti Nivole

1 review

Michele Chiarlo Moscato D'asti Nivole is a sweet bubbly wine. Drinking it cold is a must. Great with simple desserts or a fruit and cheese platter or just by itself. Tasty and delicious!
Caroline Cellars Vidal Icewine

Tasting Notes: Classic nose of orange and caramel – with a palate full of sweet mandarin orange, candied pineapple, orchard fruits like peaches, apricots and pears. Caramel and butterscotch notes make an appearance on the finish. Serve with fruit desserts or strong cheese.
Kittling Ridge Icewine & Brandy

This is half as sweet as icewine, this dessert wine is a delicate blend of Vidal icewine and seven-year old oak aged brandy. I really like icewine but this is not something I truly like. I think it is the combination with the brandy.

Robe...

Kawartha Country Wines - Bazinga Berry Fruit Wine

1 review

Love Love Love this wine! A mixed berry fruit wine, referred to as a "social" wine, meaning it is a sweeter wine. Somewhere between a dessert wine and an off dry wine. Great for those that don't like or can't drink grape wines. Every visit to Kawartha Country Winery I find a new...
Vineland Riesling Icewine 2008

I first tried this when I went to a steak house for an anniversary dinner with my bf. I only really drink ice wines because they're the only wines sweet enough for me to stomach (and don't burn while going down). I ordered a small flute of this (which cost $12!), since the ice...

Strewn Late Harvest (Vidal) Wine

had this at a tasting last week. It's true that it is about half the sweetness of regular ice wine. It's very nice and still sweet but not nearly as sweet which is perfect because I typically stay away from icewine because it is so sweet.
Konzelmann Icewine

1 review

Konzelmann is an old estate winery from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario and they make great VQA wines. I didn't think of them as an icewine producer until a few years back when their Vidal icewine was listed as one of the top 100 wines in the world by Wine Spectator. It was the...
