Italian Reviews

Everyone has their 'favourite little Italian place', their date night go-to or parking spot for lovelorn carb-aholic therapy.  Whether our love affair's with authentic Italian food or the pseudo-Italian Americanized fare we prefer, the blend of fresh housemade pastas and pizzas, cheese, garlic and great wine is a recipe for a sizzling night out or a satisfying night in.  Pair that with a great patio and we'll throw all those silly New Year's resolutions out the window right here and now.

Brio Tuscan Grille

1 review

We love Brio!! The atmosphere is so nice, the service is great and the food is fantastic! I would definitely recommend going. We've had to make a point to bring our parents when we're in the area. When you go, you have to try the Steak Bruschetta! Heavenly!

Campagnolo

I came here for a friend's birthday and I was quite disappointed in my experience at Campagnolo. Much to say, this review is biased (of course) and from the perspective of a normal person/person who grew up with a family full of chefs. ***If you are a fan of fine dining...

I've been to the Yonge and St. Clair Il Fornello location twice, once to dine-in and once to take-out. I ordered from there with a friend just the other night. We decided to try some less conventional dishes, and were very pleased with our choices. We had the shrimp and...

The Dungeness Crab Ravioli, $21 with mascarpone, lemon and pesto cream is sheer heaven. It doesn't feel heavy at all and the pesto is so fresh. I will dream about this pasta until I return. Now that I got that out of the way... I really like this restaurant. Great vibe...

This cozy trattoria is located in the upper east side at 81st & 2nd Avenue. They have a patio in the summer, but my visit here was in February, on Valentine's day incidentally. It's small and intimate, so I recommend a reservation. The service is fantastic and the food...

Buca di Beppo

I really disliked the pizza and the spaghetti. I really don't like this restaurant. I also don't love sharing with people because I am a picky eater, so if you aren't big on family-style dining, this is not for you.
