Curling up with a good book is a favourite year-round pursuit: in front of a blazing fire in January, in the park under a warm May sun, in a hammock lake-side in July or with coffee on the back porch overlooking brilliant fall foliage.

Life by Keith Richards

This autobiography by Keith Richards is a great read for music fans. He's one of the coolest Rolling Stones. (Sorry, Mick). Keith tells it like it is from his point of view. I enjoy the storytelling and the humour from Keith. This is a fascinating read.
Teddy and Dolly's Magic Carpet Ride

One of our favourites as children. A cut out teddy and dolly on their magic carpet are slid through a slot in each page as they go through their adventure, page to page. It's beyond adorable and found in hardcover. A very special, memorable book.

This is a very good book I also saw the movie. It really makes you think. It was a book I read after I had a death in the family, it makes you feel a little better knowing death isn't the end and making you think your loved ones could be still with you.
The Lemon Tree

I find nothing to be more complicated than the conflict in Palestine and this book provides an educational, non-biased story of two families from there. It is very interesting and easy to follow.
