Rona boxwood plant

1 review

I bought boxwood mini shrubs from Rona for my back yard to frame my walkway. I trim them into ball shapes which look nice. Some people connect them into a low hedge, which is also fun. They are a hardy plant and survive winters in Vancouver. There are a lot of varieties.

I bought this mosquito zapper to have outside on the porch so that we could enjoy summer evenings. It works great. The glowing light attracts small insects, large ones can't fit through the cracks in the plastic frame. It electrocutes the insects leaving only dust behind.

We have a huge treed property, with about 2.5 acres and when the fall comes around I can't wait to tackle the leaves. In the beginning I was optimistic that I could (with a bit of help) rake the the front, back and side yards and bag the leaves. That thought quickly passed after...

Halifax Seed Alicante Tomato

These should be planted in a container since mints spreads and can be invasive. It says to start them 6-8 weeks before last frost indoors but I have never had a problem growing them after last frost in a pot.
