Boutiques & Malls Reviews

"The Mall" is this mystical place where every teenage dream comes true:  meeting friends at The Mall, seeing a movie with a new boyfriend at The Mall, shopping for prom dresses at The Mall... One-stop shopping is only one of the many reasons we're drawn to these indoor and outdoor modern-day bazaars like moths to the flame.

As much as we love the reliability of finding our favourite brands on the ubiquitous mall directory boards, other shopping aficionados live for the hunt of the next great boutique.  Independent hat makers, curated dress boutiques, and only-found-here lingerie locales are the treasures that tempt these supporters of the local economy.  Expense, justified.

Anthropologie

The items and layout of Anthro look heavenly, though, the prices may scare you. Fret not, the sale section is probably where most people go and they usually have discounts from time to time. So take advantage when you can! I've bought a few things from Anthro, including their...

I had received Birks necklace for my 25 years of service with the company I hd worked for. It was a beautiful heart necklace wit white gold. I had a problem with the clasp and took it into Brks for them to fix it.. Service was great... no problems Love the products and wish I...
Mystique Boutique

I stumbled upon this place in Soho last week. It is on 547 Broadway. There is a huge selection of uber cheap dresses, tops, tights, skirts that are cute and stylish. I don't have a picture of the store but the top I'm wearing here was from there and I paid $25 for it. I...
Jacob

Jacob was a great store. The clothes actually fit me. Was sorry to see Jacob go.
Carlingwood Mall

It's kind of the seniors mall or young family mall. Tons of mall walkers and new moms getting out with the kids. It had a few alright stores like garage and le chateu and champs but there isn't much and it's pretty small.
Sports Experts

1 review

I think Sports Experts is one of the best (possibly number one in my books) sport store around. They have everything that I can think of that I would need (winter jackets, shoes of all kinds, sport accessories, etc, etc) sport-related. Some things can feel a bit pricey, but...
Poa Studio

This by appointment only boutique is one of Toronto's best kept secrets. Fun and fabulous owner, Catherine carries designer fashions from all over the world, primarily Montreal, Germany, Paris and Brazil. This boutique is for the fashionable executive whose time is precious...
Allegro

I've been coming here since my first year in school. They always have a lot of fun, cool, chic, punk, etc, etc (I could go on and on) stuff here. If you want to make your own tee-shirt, then you've come to the right place. They have binders filled with all sorts of pictures...
Foot Locker

My boyfriend and I went into this store and we bought him a pair of shoes. The service was very good and associate was knowledgeable. The prices are in a vast range because they carry several brands in one store.
Frou Frou

1 review

Frou Frou, connected with The Sassy Bead Corporation in the Byward Market is another creative stylish place to go for shoes, accessories, bags, even paper. I enjoy poking around this store because I always seem to find something that interests me, whether it be for my home or...
Warehouse One

I always pass by the store. I would sometimes come in and want to buy a nice pair of jeans but they are not on trend, as much as I want to see. Even with their big sales, promotions going on there isn't anything attracting me to buy. I see this brand as low quality and not...
Dynamite

The store offers great clothes, but I usually purchase on big sale days because it can get expensive. The quality of the clothing is nice and it is always on trend. There are nice pieces available for office wear. The line ups for fitting rooms are not long.
Globo Shoes

1 review

I love Globo Shoes- possibly more than Payless. They have a lot more variety in styles, brands, and colours. The prices are really good, and it feels like they are always having sales, like Payless. I can almost always find a pair or two of good quality shoes here at...
Magpie

1 review

Magpie is one of my favorite jewelry stores that I've ever been to. It's hip, trendy, chic, but still gives off a classic feel. I've bought a few simple pieces here, but I would love to buy some of their more expensive rings and necklaces. Their pieces are really cool and I...
American Soul Clothing Boutique

I found this store on my way down to Ft. Lauderdale beach on Las Olas Blvd. I was driving by and the window display caught my attention. I parked the car and walked back to the boutique and was pleasantly surprised by the unique items in the store. The website does not do this...
Athletes World

1 review

Athletes World is another good sports store, but the prices are a little more here, depending on what you are looking for. The sales staff is helpful in finding what you need too. They have really good sales, but not always on stuff that I want, so it's a bit of a toss-up. I...
Moss

This is a great little store for house and garden stuff... lots of unique things at a great price!
The Shoe Company

I enjoy coming to this store. It is a warehouse with a lot of isles of shoes. Every "shoeholic" dream, but there wasn't much of service offered. This store is more like walk around yourself and if you like something just pick it up. I mean that is okay by me. The price range is...
Market Village Shopping Centre

Now, I cannot possibly write a review about Pacific Mall and not one for Market Village, the two go together (they are right next to each other!) Market Village is by far less busier than the Pacific Mall, though for a first timer, I recommend going to Pacific instead. Market is...
Bayshore Shopping Centre

I really enjoy coming here to shop. Every time I come I usually find something, and sometimes even at a great bargain too. The website gives a list of all the stores available to you like Old Navy, Jacob, Zellers, Payless, The Bay (complete with MAC counter), and more. It has...
