This place didn't used to be so bad, we went there all the time. The last time we went there though, everything about it was horrible! The service was pathetic, we were completely ignored and they seemed irritated to bring us anything. To top it off, my friend ordered chicken wings and two of them were raw. Bleeding raw. The waitress didn't seem to care and just asked if she wanted new ones...still charged us for them not being eaten!! Stay far, far away from this place.

Worst service ever!

We went there to celebrate our friends 21st birthday, brought a cake in and asked the server to hide it in the kitchen until dessert time so we can bring it out as a surprise. A female server agreed to do so. However, when I signal them to bring out the birthday cake, one old male server came to our table and ask if we need to cut the cake or not with the birthday boy sitting right in front of him. This ruined the whole surprise thing completely and we were very disappointed.

Moreover, we found a bug in our mango pudding and that is disgusting, they only switched a new one for us and did not even offer any discounts to let us know that they truly care how the customer feels.

We get repetitive signs from that same old male server to ask us leave when our orders have not all arrived yet. He kept on asking us " there's anything else you want to order?" or "that's the last order?"

They included 12% tips when they calculate their bills so check before u pay!

TERRIBLE. People in Toronto who like this place have never tried good Sushi.

I was in the area so thought I would try it out. Not sure why as there are only about 5 good Japanese restaurants in the city. Ones run by Koreans - mainly or Chinese are usually terrible. What's worse, they charge you for what you don't eat so you are forced to eat even items you don't like.

My butterfish and makeral were both still partially frozen, the "Japanese " chicken was overlooked and salty, each dish I had just tasted terrible.

It is all you can eat so what can one expect and most people in this city do not know what a good restaurant is. They prefer quantity over quality.

It was my first and last time at this restaurant and yes, the staff are about the rudest I've come across.

Reviews probably won't make a difference on this place as the only thing they care about is getting people in and out and the patrons only care about being able to eat as much as possible at an inexpensive price. Anyone who has enjoyed real sushi places in Toronto - Hiro, Zen, even Sushi Couture, don't even bother with this place.

I think Sushi Inn in Yorkville is even better than Aji Sai, and Sushi Inn is pretty disgusting as well.

This is a great lunch spot. Their maki are really good, nigiri choice is limited at lunch, but they have amazing handrolls and lots to choose from. We visit here regularly for lunch, occasionally for dinner (their menu is expanded considerably on the dinner menu - including sashimi, 'special' maki, eel nigiri (yum!) and panko-coated deep-fried bananas with ice cream for dessert.

My only negative comment would be that nearly every time we come, they seem to (conveniently) forget about half of our first order -- then we end up sitting expecting it to arrive until finally we have to flag down a server and ask about it, and eventually have to re-order. This is aggravating especially if you are on a tight timeline.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. tasty sushi, great deal.

I frequent the Aji Sai restaurant located at Queen and Spadina. They're staff is very friendly and fast. They recently expanded over the summer, but don't let the extra space fool you, if you're going at peak times for lunch and dinner, go early as there will be a line - especially on the weekend. They're sushi rolls and kitchen food both have a great selection to choose from and I absolutely LOVE their cheese wontons!!

With a few locations around the GTA this all you can eat sushi place is fantastic. I really love the location at Bayview and Hwy 7 in Markham. Although located sort of out of the way, it's a great place to get some amazing sushi. The food is always fresh and delicious and the owner is really friendly. Although most all you can eat places are not known for the best service, this one is great - they take great care of you.

You absolutely have to try the rock-n-roll and the aji sai roll as well as the seaweed salad. Tons of items on the menu to chose from and generous portions too. Great tasting green tea and the ice cream rocks too.
