two words.. CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS... *DROOL" they have alot of yummy things, the croissant is my go to, but only once i a while because you pay for what you get.. quality.. SOOO GOOD!
An absolute favourite. The Aroma salad is a go to. I can't wait for hot chocolate season to begin so that I can indulge in their version.
But the best is the service. The employees make you feel like you're going to a friend's for coffee. There is a blondish guy with black glasses who makes the best coffees.
Love this Café. They make great coffees, and have a great menu, filled with desserts, drinks and food. You can taste the quality in all their items, something different from your regular coffee place. When I want a REAL cappuccino this is my go-to place, with a delicious pastry.
So far I've only tried their Hot Chocolate, and let me tell you ladies.... it .. is .. amaaaaazing!!!
They steam the milk, put chunks of velvety rich yummy milk chocolate in your cup and pour the milk over it. You have to stir the milk and stir the chocolate into the milk. It is as delicious as it sounds, and then some!!
It is expensive considering it's just a hot chocolate, but it tastes so gorgeous that despite the price, I find myself going again and again.
And with every order they give you a piece of their own Chocolate on the side. Rich creamy milk chocolate...
I would highly recommend this restaurant, and the Hot Chocolate to everyone. Chocolate lovers will find their heaven, and the rest of us will become converts :-) Yummm...!!!!
Aroma Espresso Bar is one of my favourite coffee places! It's is a company based out of Israel and they have a few locations here now in Toronto and the surrounding area (including Thornhill). The coffee and food are both delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I love stopping by it when I'm in the mall, even though there is always a huge line up! Staff are also friendly and the service is good.
My only complaint about this location is that it's in very wide open space of the mall. I think it would be better if it were a little more self-contained so that customers can have a more enjoyable coffee experience.
I first spotted Aroma, the Israeli espresso concept chain in New York. I was charmed by the long window lined with bar stools occupied by yuppies on laptops sipping hot steamy beverages. When you see that many computers in a row, you should assume free wi-fi. The decor looked really chic yet cozy and I thought this might be my dream cafe. It can be lonely working from home so I love finding new cafes to camp out in for an hour (or two!) to break up my day.
I was very excited to learn they had opened a location in Toronto near Bloor and Bathurst (by Honest Ed's). Last week I trekked out in the cold, laptop in hand, to see if this was my dream cafe.
It wasn't quite as nice on the inside as the Soho location, but it was bustling and hard to get a table. I managed to snag one and settled in with a creamy latte and a warm chocolate croissant. I was pleased to see that there is indeed free wi-fi, which is obtained by requesting your receipt where the passcode is provided. It made for an enjoyable snack and a chance to get some work done out of the office. Unlike other cafes, you don't wait at the bar for your drink. They ask for your name and then call you when it is ready. I noticed a table of women having the most delicious and healthy looking salads and felt momentarily bad about my less healthy choice. But oh well, I can be healthy next time!
Though the vibe wasn't quite as chic as I'd hoped, it's a great spot for free wi-fi and excellent lattes. The piece of milk chocolate they serve on the side is an added bonus.
