Very disappointing, don't go there

Horrible. The stylist didn't understand what was described but cut anyway. It was only after the fact that she said she didn't know what she was doing. The hair I'd been growing for almost a year is gone with a slash job left behind and no willingness to do anything useful to repair the damage. Extremely unprofessional.

I visit Avalon in Fredericton (all three locations) on a regular basis, as I'm a wedding photographer - and it's one of the best places for bride's to have their hair and make up done. I am always impressed. Not only with the fabulous job the ladies (and gentlemen) do, but also with the cleanliness of the salon & spa. It's spotless. The receptionists are such a pleasure to deal with, and always greet you when you walk in. I love the newest location the best, as it has a lot more open space, and has a much more "trendy" appearance. I also love the available Aveda products.

I went to Avalon to get my hair done for my wedding day. It was perfect and the girl did a fantastic job.

I went there a few days before the wedding and had a trial run. Since I was indecisive about my hair, the girl gave me a few suggestions based on the styles I was thinking off. Then we tried out her suggestions which turned out pretty well. Finally, she sent me home with instructions to observe my hair throughout the rest of the day and see how I like the changes.

Then on my wedding day, we made the adjustments (according to my observations) and my hair was perfect for the rest of the day. The service there was excellent and the girl did such a wonderful job.
