My husband and I took his mother and brother out for lunch one day and it was the first time I had been there, though they had been there before and raved about it. It was expensive, but every bit worth it! The food was amazing and not like anything you can get at some boring chain restaurant. The ingredients were fresh, full of flavour, and clearly the chefs knew what they were doing back there. While I'm not a beer drinker myself, my husband is and he enjoys the various brews they have there at different times in the year. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. My only regret is not living in Ottawa anymore so it's not something I can go to whenever I want, but oh well! It'll be a treat when I visit!
