Black Beans Restaurant and Steakhouse, Port Hope, Ontario

Wow, just what this little town needed! I live in Toronto and spend a few weekends every month in the quaint little town of Port Hope with friends. There are a few restaurants there already, but nothing with great food. I was cautious during my first visit but was with friends who had dined there before and recommended it. I was completely blown away. Upon arrival we were greeted at the door and made to feel very much at home. The bar is fabulous and the two men bartending were friendly, knowledgable and very easy on the eyes..... ladies!! Upon dinner seating we were given a cornchip and black bean dip that was very good, it was devoured in a few minutes. I ordered the ceasar salad and filet which were perfect. My other friends had lamb and fish and a calamari app. We were all raving about our food. The price point was exceptional considering the super quality of food.

We will be frequent guests at Black Beans!!!
