I was really impressed with the service I got at Bootleggers. I haven't shopped at an actual 'jean store' since university, and was glad I went in. My one pair of jeans died, and I was seeking a new pair for work that weren't too low (aka butt crack when bending) were comfortable and looked nice. Oh, and didn't cost me my entire paycheck. I tried many stores, but none of them carried the size I wanted in the length I needed. Why do stores not make jeans to fit women who are under 5'3?! Hemming was out of the question for some places, as the flare would have then started at my knees. And apparently taking them in would mess with the grain. And why pay $90 for jeans that don't fit and then may extra to only have them sort of fit?

Not only were the jeans reasonably priced at Bootleggers, but they also offer free hemming! Their jeans were just a tad long for me, but they realize not everyone is 5'11 and skinny and will need items taken up. I bought 2 jeans and by the next day they were perfect, free of charge!

I also have to congratulate the staff there, as I tried on no less than 15 pairs of jeans - seriously. Plus the various tops I tried on (which i shouldn't because then i bought them! Oh well, all in a good cause...). They were patient, cheerful and helpful. Rather than giving up on me as a lost cause they pulled down items to recommend and seemed to know their product well.
