This is an excellent store, so much to see, so much to purchase. If you love to cook this place will definitely boggle your mind. It has every type of pot, pan, decorating item, cookie cutter etc.

Then you go to the back room (my favorite) where you find cook books, ingredients (not general groceries like meats and fresh veggies). But ingredients for making candies, cookies, baking and any culinary delight you may want. These ingredients include hard to find spices, flavorings and even dried vegetables. Mustard and coco powders, Vanilla from foreign destinations, walnuts and almonds and any thing else you may need. I specially love their own line dried vegetables for adding to soups (When rehydrated these vegetables are in little cubes and each one has its own individual taste, something I have never found elsewhere).

They teach classes of a variety of things all related to cooking and baking. Bread making, Candy Making, Using a dehydrator (of which they carry one of the best), and so many other classes to long a list to itemize here. As I mentioned earlier this is a gourmet cooks delight. Anything you might need in the kitchen is available here, from a lowly vegetable peeler to that expensive pot you have been dreaming about.

Staff are so very helpful and give freely of their time never rushing you even when the store is at it's busiest. They seem to know how to use all of the products sold there and are more than happy to explain things to you. While some of the items are costly the majority are within reach of most of our budgets. If you live in the Edmonton, area or are merely driving though, take time to pop into this lovely little store and check it out. If you love to cook, be prepared to spend quite a bit of time there, so much to see. It is really mind boggling the amount and type of products offered for sale.

Would I recommend this little boutique of a store, you betcha it is one of my favorites and anyone who I have taken with me has gone back time and time again. Such a little gem hidden in such an out of the way location.
