I usually go to Brassaii for brunch on their patio in the summer because I am an old lady who doesn't go out that much. I have been there at night for a birthday party or two out on the patio and they always turn into a terrific mini-dance party. I went back last night after work for the media preview of their newly renovated patio. Where the bar used to be there is a fire place surrounded by cushy couches. The same stools and high tables sit in that area which is undercover. On the other side of the courtyard are tables and chairs (where I usually sit for brunch). The staff here are all great, I've always had attentive service and have always liked the menu. The brunch has unexpected items like a lobster club but also the standards like eggs benny.

If you go for a cocktail this summer I recommend their mojito. Super refreshing!

A couple friends and I decided to check out Brassaii's Brunch that we had been hearing so much about. We shared a few items from the brunch menu to get a taste for it and wow, was it ever good!! We shared the Banana pancakes with apple and cinnamon compote (so fluffy and moist), their eggs benedict with their hollandaise sauce (amazing!) and their "Croque Monsieur" grilled sandwich with ham and guyere cheese. If that doesn't satisfy your appetite.... talk about options!! All of theses items were so well prepared, and came out in good time too! Add a few lemon creme pastries and some specialty Brassaii Mimosa's and we just found our new weekly Brunch location!!

I went to Brassaii recently with a group of friends to check it out
after the renovation. It looks amazing inside!! The space is so much
more welcoming and comfortable, not to mention all the different rooms
they have to accommodate whatever you have in mind for the night. The
front bartender was very friendly and excited to show us the variety
of different cocktails that he created himself and that are unique to
Brassaii. The DJ was playing in the back room and it was exactly the
night of cocktails and dancing my girlfriends and I were looking for!

I like Brassaii. I used to come here with the fashion blogger brunches and always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. I always ordered the french toast, which was delicious and well priced.

Brassaii is a large restaurant, so if you're looking to do a bigger group event they could probably accommodate you. In the summer they have a beautiful patio.

It's a great spot for lunch brunch or dinner on King West.

Lets start with the good...the food was great. However waiting over an hour in between each course was not. Either was the attitude when we got there. Or the fact we had to wait 15 minutes for a table at 9:30 pm on a Thursday night even though we had reservations. And that we were seated in the back room beside a large party of people. Or the fact we had to wait 20 minutes for the bill. Or the fact that the air conditioning was on so high I could hardly enjoy my dinner. Not a good experience...and friends have told me similar things. And it's not like your paying $20 for a meal, I was with 2 girlfriends and the bill for dinner, one drink and dessert was $80 EACH before tip! I have no problem paying that if I enjoy my dinner. I felt like the staff was doing us a favor by seating us and "serving" us.

I recently had the chance to go to Brassaii with friends. My impression was "damn, huge ceiling!". It definitely has a industrial feel to it..a place you would normally see at the distillery district - not king st! I had the salmon and the french onion soup which was delicious. The fish was cooked just right and I wouldn't have it any other way. The waiter was super nice and friendly which was a big plus. I will definitely go back there for brunch in the patio during the summer.
