Do not care about customer satisfaction.
We were given a dirty room. When we decided that it was disgusting and would like to leave(hour a bit after checking in, we didnt hang out in the room for that time, we checked in early to ensure a good room) they offered us the room ours adjoined with. They told us for a refund wed have to return the next day to speak with management but would have to leave the key then. So we did. We came back the next day and they said policy is no refunds. They then said they were unable to rent the room for the night because we had booked it. We weren't in the room and it was gross before we arrived so it was never rentable. That evening my daughter started to feel ill and then later became severely sick with each of us following in tow. We absolutely have NEVER had anything pass around our house because we are super careful and clean. Our only thought is we got sick from the hotel.
My kids excitedly ran into the room and went straight to the kids bunkbeds and laid on one calling theirs for the night. We put our bags down but came in with chicken from the pub (which was good) and only smelt the chicken. Went straight to the pool cause it was empty. The pool was freezing. My kids jumped in and started having their lips turn blue so we had then get out and return to the room. When we got back (not long later!! The pool was too cold for people to use, which is why it was empty. Also we stepped on toe nail clippings near the tables) we noticed right away it smelt really bad in the room. We went straight to the desk to tell them it was not okay and we wouldve noticed earlier but we came in with food. They said you've had the room for 4 hours. We laughed cause that far from true. We were there for an hour and a half at most. They claimed room was no longer rentable because we used it. We wanted a half refund because we did use book a room and stuff but it was not acceptable and we weren't staying at an apparent 4 star hotel that was feeling like a 2 star. Management wasnt there so they said to return.. and well they didnt care. One of my children was later hospitalized for dehydration, turned out we picked up H1N1!!
When I talked to management about this and mentioned my unhappiness and my daughter in hospital being sick, they still said it was policy to not refund customers. Worst company ever.
